My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, we meditated about how Abraham obeyed God’s words and did what God told him to do. There God’s righteousness is manifested. God blessed Abraham.

Because Abraham humbled himself and obeyed God, Genesis 22:15 – 18 Then the Angel of the Lord called to Abraham a second time out of heaven,

and said: “By Myself I have sworn, says the Lord, because you have done this thing, and have not withheld your son, your only son—

blessing I will bless you and multiplying I will multiply your descendants as the stars of the heaven and as the sand which is on the seashore; and your descendants shall possess the gate of their enemies.

In your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed, because you have obeyed My voice.”

God is telling Abraham your descendants because he submitted himself completely and God is showing Isaac as the only son and shows Isaac as the promised descendant that Abraham and Sarah bore. When he was going to offer Isaac as an offering to God, he did not ask the advice of any man, he only obeyed the word of God, did not bother that he was his only Son but when he submitted himself completely as an offering to God by humbling himself, God gave Abraham a descendant (Christ) who was offered as a sacrifice of all mankind. That is why God showed him a ram caught in a thicket by its horns.

Abraham waited patiently till the promise that God gave him was fulfilled and received it.

That is why Our Lord Jesus Christ says –

John 8: 56 – 58 Your father Abraham rejoiced to see My day, and he saw it and was glad.”

Then the Jews said to Him, “You are not yet fifty years old, and have You seen Abraham?”

Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.”

From this, what we need to understand completely is that in the beginning he was with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.

John1: 15 – 18 John bore witness of Him and cried out, saying, “This was He of whom I said, ‘He who comes after me is preferred before me, for He was before me.’”

And of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace.

For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him.

John 14: 7 – 11 “If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; and from now on you know Him and have seen Him.”

Philip said to Him, “Lord, show us the Father, and it is sufficient for us.”

Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?

Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works.

Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father in Me, or else believe Me for the sake of the works themselves.

There is no change in the fact that only if we submit ourselves completely, through Christ we will be reconciled to God and be in fellowship with Him.

If we will follow all the ways that our Lord Jesus Christ has showed us and walk in his path, the Spirit of truth, who is our Comforter will guide us into all truth. When we go in this path, we will enter Christ which is life. That is only peace, joy and fullness of comfort.

Let us pray.  May the Lord bless you all.
