Giving offering unto God

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, And the Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel to Abraham beforehand, saying, “In you all the nations shall be blessed.”

So then those who are of faith are blessed with believing Abraham.

Lot separated from Abram and lived in Sodom. Therefore, the enemies of Sodom took Lot and all his goods and went. This matter was informed to Abram. Abram in Genesis 14:14 says - Now when Abram heard that his brother was taken captive, he armed his three hundred and eighteen trained servants who were born in his own house, and went in pursuit as far as Dan.

Abram brought back his brother Lot, all the people and his goods, as well as the women.

And the king of Sodom went out to meet him at the Valley of Shaveh.

In this manner, because he put on the armour and received back all that was taken captive, God blessed him even more.

Genesis 14: 18 – 20 says - Then Melchizedek king of Salem brought out bread and wine; he was the priest of God Most High.

And he blessed him and said: “Blessed be Abram of God Most High, Possessor of heaven and earth;

And blessed be God Most High, Who has delivered your enemies into your hand.” And he gave him a tithe of all.

What we understand from all this is that according to the order of Melchizedek our Lord Jesus Christ is a high priest, a chief high priest within us forever. We must realize that every day the person who is delivering us from the hands of the enemy and saving us is our Most High God through Christ. If we want God to bless us with all our blessings we must receive from the Most High God the bread and the wine which is sealed by God and which is served to us by the Lord Jesus Christ. In order for us to receive it and eat our souls must put on the armour of holiness. After that, we must give a tithe from all the blessings that God has given us.

That is what God said in John 6:27 - Do not labor for the food which perishes, but for the food which endures to everlasting life, which the Son of Man will give you, because God the Father has set His seal on Him.”

In Malachi 3:8 - “Will a man rob God? Yet you have robbed Me! But you say, ‘In what way have we robbed You?’ In tithes and offerings.

You are cursed with a curse, For you have robbed Me, Even this whole nation.

Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, That there may be food in My house, And try Me now in this,” Says the Lord of hosts, “If I will not open for you the windows of heaven And pour out for you such blessing That there will not be room enough to receive it.

From this, my dear brothers and sisters in Christ, what we understand is that tithe which belongs to God if we give it to Him God will fill the churches with his truth and bless them. Through Christ who is the church, God will bless our spiritual life. God will also bless us with all the worldly blessings.

Malachi 3: 11, 12 - “And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, So that he will not destroy the fruit of your ground, Nor shall the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field,” Says the Lord of hosts;

“And all nations will call you blessed, For you will be a delightful land,” Says the Lord of hosts.

In this manner, if we obey God he is more than faithful to bless us.

Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all.
