Being made as God’s dwelling place

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, Behold I am bringing forth my servant the branch. That branch is our Lord Jesus Christ. He wants to walk around in our souls.

In order to gather all the people scattered through out the earth together and change them as one people, one shepherd, one flock God the Father gave his only begotten Son and cleansed all our uncleanliness by one blood and gave us the salvation of forgiveness and raised Christ with His Spirit. Ephesians 2: 7, 8 - that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God

Ephesians 2: 19 – 22 says - Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God,

having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone,

in whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord,

in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.

In this manner, along with Christ, who is the stone of Zion we should be united and be built as the holy temple of God by his Spirit and as a place that God dwells.

Therefore, we are all the members of Christ’s body. That is why in 1 Corinthians 3: 16, 17 - Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?

If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are.

We must be holy at all times. We must only think of things which pleases God.

Philippians 3: 18 – 21 says - For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ:

whose end is destruction, whose god is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame—who set their mind on earthly things.

For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ,

who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself.

Philippians 4: 8 - Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, we have been meditating about how those who put on Christ should walk in holiness. Our mind should never scatter but meditate only on things related to God.

In order to gather the people whom God scattered, Our Lord Jesus Christ died, rose up, was seen by many and then taken up to heaven. After that on the day of Pentecost he cam down upon all those who waited in one accord for Him in the upper room. The whole house where they were sitting was filled by the Holy Spirit and they all began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. But when people who came from different nations heard them they said that we hear them speaking in our own tongues the wonderful works of God and they were all amazed saying to one another, “Whatever could this mean?” But all those who spoke were Galileans.

Through this, God brought together as one all those who were scattered, people of all tribes, people of all languages, people of all nations together to the one stone in Zion and make them worship together and made them his temple. When we become the temple of God, The Holy Spirit dwells within us. As the Holy Spirit dwells in us we will meditate on things of God. Only then we will receive holiness.

Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all.
