Making Christ our High priest

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, the stone that was kept before Joshua is the Lord Jesus Christ. There were seven eyes kept on this stone. This stone is the stone kept in Zion. This is the stone that God engraved. This is the Chief cornerstone, which is tried stone, a precious cornerstone, a sure foundation. The eyes on this stone are the seven spirits sent all around the earth. These seven spirits are the seven lamps which tests us and cleanses us.

Our Lord Jesus Christ is made as a high priest, chief high priest for Joshua by God. He is the one that removes our iniquity in one day. That is why, God gave his only begotten Son for us on the cross so that his blood is powerful to remove and cleanse all our sins and dirt.

Ephesians 4: 14 says - that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting,

Ephesians 4: 16 says - but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ.

Ephesians 5: 8 – 10 For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light

(for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth),

finding out what is acceptable to the Lord.

Hebrews 7: 14 – 19 For it is evident that our Lord arose from Judah, of which tribe Moses spoke nothing concerning priesthood.

And it is yet far more evident if, in the likeness of Melchizedek, there arises another priest

who has come, not according to the law of a fleshly commandment, but according to the power of an endless life.

For He testifies: “You are a priest forever According to the order of Melchizedek.”

For on the one hand there is an annulling of the former commandment because of its weakness and unprofitableness,

for the law made nothing perfect; on the other hand, there is the bringing in of a better hope, through which we draw near to God.

Hebrews 7: 20 says –And inasmuch as He was not made priest without an oath (for they have become priests without an oath, but He with an oath by Him who said to Him: “The Lord has sworn And will not relent, ‘You are a priest forever According to the order of Melchizedek’”), by so much more Jesus has become a surety of a better covenant.

Hebrews 7:23, 24 says –Also there were many priests, because they were prevented by death from continuing.

But He, because He continues forever, has an unchangeable priesthood.

Hebrews 7: 25 says - Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.

From this we know, we need a Chief high priest who is without sin. The one who came from the Most High is above all, higher than all and greater than all.

Hebrews 7: 26 says - For such a High Priest was fitting for us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and has become higher than the heavens;

Only our Lord Jesus Christ is able to forgive our sins and has the power to take us to heaven.

That is why in Zechariah 13: 1, 2 - “In that day a fountain shall be opened for the house of David and for the inhabitants of Jerusalem, for sin and for uncleanness.

“It shall be in that day,” says the Lord of hosts, “that I will cut off the names of the idols from the land, and they shall no longer be remembered. I will also cause the prophets and the unclean spirit to depart from the land.

Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all.
