“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”
Nehemiah 8:10 Then he said to them, “Go your way, eat the fat, drink the sweet, and send portions to those for whom nothing is prepared; for this day is holy to our Lord. Do not sorrow, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen
Hallelujah
Fighting does not belong to us
My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, let us recollect again all the portions of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days. In the past days, God shows us clearly through a pattern regarding how Moses was protected in the ark of bulrushes and how our soul has to be safe guarded from the hardened heart of Pharaoh and how God protects our soul from falling and perishing in wickedness, which is the world.
Also, in the past days we see a great thing that God does so that Moses was brought up by his mother. That is, we see that Moses’s sister brings to Pharaoh’s daughter, one of the Hebrew women to nurse the child and give the child milk. But that is the child’s mother. But in Exodus 2: 9 Then Pharaoh’s daughter said to her, “Take this child away and nurse him for me, and I will give you your wages.” So, the woman took the child and nursed him.
My dear people, even though the child is being found by Pharaoh’s daughter, he is handing over the child to be brought up by the child’s real mother. We must think one thing, God, through our forefathers, has certain purposes in us. That purpose, whatever circumstances may come in our lives, God will not give us unto evil, but he will fulfill that purpose.
When Moses, the child grew, she brought him to Pharaoh’s daughter, and he became her son. So, she called his name Moses, saying, “Because I drew him out of the water.”
Exodus 2: 11, 12 Now it came to pass in those days, when Moses was grown, that he went out to his brethren and looked at their burdens. And he saw an Egyptian beating a Hebrew, one of his brethren.
So, he looked this way and that way, and when he saw no one, he killed the Egyptian and hid him in the sand.
My dear people, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, one of the reasons why Hebrews were sent to Egypt was for God to judge the Egyptians. That is, the deeds of Egypt (deeds of the world which are various sinful deeds) which are in our soul, should be destroyed. It is for this that God is showing this as a pattern that when Moses was grown, that he saw an Egyptian beating a Hebrew, and he killed the Egyptian and hid him in the sand.
My dear people, who are reading this, God is showing this as a pattern because he wants to destroy the deeds of Egypt which are in our soul.
And then another day, behold, two Hebrew men were fighting, and he said to the one who did the wrong, “Why are you striking your companion?”
Then one of the Hebrew men said, “Who made you a prince and a judge over us? Do you intend to kill me as you killed the Egyptian?” So, Moses feared and said, “Surely this thing is known!”
Exodus 2: 15 When Pharaoh heard of this matter, he sought to kill Moses. But Moses fled from the face of Pharaoh and dwelt in the land of Midian; and he sat down by a well.
God is not pleased with Hebrews fighting because all Israelites are servants.
Leviticus 25: 55 For the children of Israel are servants to Me; they are My servants whom I brought out of the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God.
Fighting, does not belong to the Israelites.
2 Timothy 2: 23 – 26 But avoid foolish and ignorant disputes, knowing that they generate strife.
And a servant of the Lord must not quarrel but be gentle to all, able to teach, patient,
in humility correcting those who are in opposition, if God perhaps will grant them repentance, so that they may know the truth,
and that they may come to their senses and escape the snare of the devil, having been taken captive by him to do his will.
My dear people, fighting does not belong to God’s children. Right now, all the dear people who are reading these words, each one of us in our personal lives, in our family life, within the family, with others and with anyone in whatever circumstance we must not fight and whatever words may come against us, if we will bear it patiently God will love us.
Because one of God’s commandments is that you should love one another. In every circumstance we must be able to bear evil. We must always keep in mind that this is the way that God has showed us.
That is why, in Proverbs 17: 1 Better is a dry morsel with quietness, Than a house full of feasting with strife.
Proverbs 21: 19 Better to dwell in the wilderness, Than with a contentious and angry woman.
This is because, in 1 John 4: 21 And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his brother also.
This is what God is showing us as a pattern through Moses.
Therefore, my dear people, let us confess our mistakes in God’s presence and receive the forgiveness of our sins and do God’s will and possess the blessings.
Let us pray. May the Lord bless us all.
