“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”
Job 4: 12
Now a word was secretly brought to me, and my ear received a whisper of it.
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen
Each one of us, the bride, the church should be as those who hear the voice of God speaking to us.
My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that we, the bride, the church should manifest to the Lord as those with a loyal heart.
Next what we are meditating upon is that in 2 Chronicles 1: 1 – 4 Now Solomon the son of David was strengthened in his kingdom, and the Lord his God was with him and exalted him exceedingly.
And Solomon spoke to all Israel, to the captains of thousands and of hundreds, to the judges, and to every leader in all Israel, the heads of the fathers’ houses.
Then Solomon, and all the assembly with him, went to the high place that was at Gibeon; for the tabernacle of meeting with God was there, which Moses the servant of the Lord had made in the wilderness.
But David had brought up the ark of God from Kirjath Jearim to the place David had prepared for it, for he had pitched a tent for it at Jerusalem.
In the above-mentioned verses, Solomon the son of David was strengthened in his kingdom, and the Lord his God was with him and exalted him exceedingly. Also, in 2 Chronicles 1: 5, 6 Now the bronze altar that Bezalel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, had made, he put before the tabernacle of the Lord; Solomon and the assembly sought Him there.
And Solomon went up there to the bronze altar before the Lord, which was at the tabernacle of meeting, and offered a thousand burnt offerings on it.
Because Israel, the church and Solomon walked according to the above-mentioned verses so on that night God appeared to Solomon, and said to him, “Ask! What shall I give you?”
My dear people, when we meditate upon the above-mentioned verses Christ, as the son of David will be strengthened in the kingdom of God, and he will be exalted among everyone, and this is being shown as a pattern. Also, to worship the Lord he is making the tabernacle of meeting through Moses and after that the bronze altar that Bezalel the son of Uri, had made, was put before the tabernacle of the Lord. Solomon went up there to the bronze altar before the Lord, which was at the tabernacle of meeting, and offered a thousand burnt offerings on it means it is a pattern that the Lord has kept for us. That is, all the laws, commandments and statues that the Lord has given us through Moses should always abide within us and bronze altar means the Lord’s true verses should abide within us and it is our duty to offer countless sacrifices of praise. Also, truthfully with a loyal heart if we will offer then the same night God will surely speak to us. Therefore in this manner let us submit ourselves completely to glorify the Lord.
Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
