“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”
Psalms 119: 1
Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the Lord!
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen
We, the bride, the church should manifest to the Lord as those with a loyal heart.
My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that we, the bride, the church should give the Lord what we have received from the hands of God and grow.
Next what we are meditating upon is that in 1 Chronicles 29: 17– 30 I know also, my God, that You test the heart and have pleasure in uprightness. As for me, in the uprightness of my heart I have willingly offered all these things; and now with joy I have seen Your people, who are present here to offer willingly to You.
O Lord God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, our fathers, keep this forever in the intent of the thoughts of the heart of Your people, and fix their heart toward You.
And give my son Solomon a loyal heart to keep Your commandments and Your testimonies and Your statutes, to do all these things, and to build the temple for which I have made provision.”
Then David said to all the assembly, “Now bless the Lord your God.” So all the assembly blessed the Lord God of their fathers, and bowed their heads and prostrated themselves before the Lord and the king.
And they made sacrifices to the Lord and offered burnt offerings to the Lord on the next day: a thousand bulls, a thousand rams, a thousand lambs, with their drink offerings, and sacrifices in abundance for all Israel.
So they ate and drank before the Lord with great gladness on that day. And they made Solomon the son of David king the second time and anointed him before the Lord to be the leader, and Zadok to be priest.
Then Solomon sat on the throne of the Lord as king instead of David his father, and prospered; and all Israel obeyed him.
All the leaders and the mighty men, and also all the sons of King David, submitted themselves to King Solomon.
So the Lord exalted Solomon exceedingly in the sight of all Israel, and bestowed on him such royal majesty as had not been on any king before him in Israel.
Thus David the son of Jesse reigned over all Israel.
And the period that he reigned over Israel was forty years; seven years he reigned in Hebron, and thirty-three years he reigned in Jerusalem.
So he died in a good old age, full of days and riches and honor; and Solomon his son reigned in his place.
Now the acts of King David, first and last, indeed they are written in the book of Samuel the seer, in the book of Nathan the prophet, and in the book of Gad the seer,
with all his reign and his might, and the events that happened to him, to Israel, and to all the kingdoms of the lands.
In the above-mentioned verses, the explanation about what King David told the Lord is that the Lord takes pleasure in the character of uprightness and each one of us with our character of uprightness if we give unto the Lord what we are offering willingly then the Lord will be joyful with us, and we can know this by the words of the Lord. Also, David said that O Lord God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, our fathers, keep this forever in the intent of the thoughts of the heart of Your people, and fix their heart toward You. And give my son Solomon a loyal heart to keep Your commandments and Your testimonies and Your statutes, to do all these things, and to build the temple for which I have made provision.
The pattern regarding this is that for us also to keep the Lord’s commandments, testimonies and statues and for the Lord Christ to dwell and to build the temple within us each one of us to show a loyal heart Christ is the one who makes supplications for us. In this manner if we are as those who are blessed, we should always praise the Lord and be as those who bow down and prostate themselves before the Lord. Then we should offer more sacrifices of praise and glorify the Lord and submit ourselves completely. Then before the Lord with great gladness we should eat and drink and through that our soul should receive the life of Christ and if we will manifest in this manner Christ will be anointed as priest within us by the Lord. In this manner, if Christ is seated within us on the throne, then we will be prosperous. The church of Christ will obey Christ in everything. In this manner, the Lord makes his son Christ great within us and is bestowing on Christ such royal majesty as had not been on any king before him in Israel and using Solomon to show this as a pattern David was king over all of Israel. In this manner David reigned over Israel was forty years; seven years he reigned in Hebron, and thirty-three years he reigned in Jerusalem. So he died in a good old age, full of days and riches and honour; and Solomon his son reigned in his place. What this shows is that in our life Christ as full of days, riches and honour within us in every day he will be manifested. Now the acts of King David, first and last, indeed they are written in the book of Samuel the seer, in the book of Nathan the prophet, and in the book of Gad the seer, with all his reign and his might. We should keep these words of the Lord in mind and each one of us with a loyal heart we should follow the Lord and to manifest as the temple of the Lord let us submit ourselves.
Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
