“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”
Mark 11: 9
Then those who went before and those who followed cried out, saying: “Hosanna! ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!’
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen
Blessed be the Lord forever within us, the bride, the church.
My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that the Lord will not leave or forsake us, the bride, the church.
Next what we are meditating upon is that in 1 Chronicles 29: 1 Furthermore King David said to all the assembly: “My son Solomon, whom alone God has chosen, is young and inexperienced; and the work is great, because the temple is not for man but for the Lord God.
In the above-mentioned verse, after David explaining and told his son Solomon regarding the plans that the Lord showed for his church and then he said to all the assembly: My son Solomon, whom alone God has chosen, is young and inexperienced; and the work is great, because the temple is not for man but for the Lord God. Now for the house of my God I have prepared with all my might: gold for things to be made of gold 1 Chronicles 29: 2 – 4 Now for the house of my God I have prepared with all my might: gold for things to be made of gold, silver for things of silver, bronze for things of bronze, iron for things of iron, wood for things of wood, onyx stones, stones to be set, glistening stones of various colors, all kinds of precious stones, and marble slabs in abundance.
Moreover, because I have set my affection on the house of my God, I have given to the house of my God, over and above all that I have prepared for the holy house, my own special treasure of gold and silver:
three thousand talents of gold, of the gold of Ophir, and seven thousand talents of refined silver, to overlay the walls of the houses;
The above-mentioned were the things that David prepared for the holy church and we can read that on his own he is giving his own special treasure of gold and silver. Then he is asking the people of the assembly that who then is willing to consecrate himself this day to the Lord?” Then the leaders of the fathers’ houses, leaders of the tribes of Israel, the captains of thousands and of hundreds, with the officers over the king’s work, offered willingly. They gave for the work of the house of God five thousand talents and ten thousand darics of gold, ten thousand talents of silver, eighteen thousand talents of bronze, and one hundred thousand talents of iron. And whoever had precious stones gave them to the treasury of the house of the Lord, into the hand of Jehiel the Gershonite. Then the people rejoiced, for they had offered willingly, because with a loyal heart they had offered willingly to the Lord; and King David also rejoiced greatly. Therefore David blessed the Lord before all the assembly; and David said: “Blessed are You, Lord God of Israel, our Father, forever and ever.
My dear people, since the past few days the facts that we are meditating upon are that the building of the church of God as a pattern the Lord is building using Solomon. That is, in our soul Christ is arising as a church and he is explaining this to us. Along with that David is collecting things with the assembly and he is collecting many things and keeping them. Also, he is giving his own things. In this manner, since the Lord told Solomon to do a great thing David is considering everything beforehand and informing the assembly and the people of the church are also willingly working for it. Therefore David is rejoicing and praising the Lord. These within us Christ is arising within us as the church and our God regarding us is considering for us beforehand. That is why, he is saying do not fear or be discouraged I am with you. Till the work of the building of the church is completed he will not leave us or forsake us. But we should be as those who obey him always. Not only that but we should be truthful and straightforward and willingly we should give ourselves completely along with all the blessings that the Lord has given us. Then the Lord because is rejoicing from within us through him we are praising the Lord. Also, in our life let us submit ourselves so that blessed be the Lord forever and ever.
Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
