“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”
Proverbs 27: 18
Whoever keeps the fig tree will eat its fruit; so he who waits on his master will be honored.
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen
We, the bride, the church should be as those who safeguard the words of God, which are the gatekeepers of Christ, the gate.
My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that the bride, the church by our salvation attaining the glory of God – its explanation.
Next what we are meditating upon is that in 1 Chronicles 25: 9 – 31 Now the first lot for Asaph came out for Joseph; the second for Gedaliah, him with his brethren and sons, twelve;
the third for Zaccur, his sons and his brethren, twelve;
the fourth for Jizri, his sons and his brethren, twelve;
the fifth for Nethaniah, his sons and his brethren, twelve;
the sixth for Bukkiah, his sons and his brethren, twelve;
the seventh for Jesharelah, his sons and his brethren, twelve;
the eighth for Jeshaiah, his sons and his brethren, twelve;
the ninth for Mattaniah, his sons and his brethren, twelve;
the tenth for Shimei, his sons and his brethren, twelve;
the eleventh for Azarel, his sons and his brethren, twelve;
the twelfth for Hashabiah, his sons and his brethren, twelve;
the thirteenth for Shubael, his sons and his brethren, twelve;
the fourteenth for Mattithiah, his sons and his brethren, twelve;
the fifteenth for Jeremoth, his sons and his brethren, twelve;
the sixteenth for Hananiah, his sons and his brethren, twelve;
the seventeenth for Joshbekashah, his sons and his brethren, twelve;
the eighteenth for Hanani, his sons and his brethren, twelve;
the nineteenth for Mallothi, his sons and his brethren, twelve;
the twentieth for Eliathah, his sons and his brethren, twelve;
the twenty-first for Hothir, his sons and his brethren, twelve;
the twenty-second for Giddalti, his sons and his brethren, twelve;
the twenty-third for Mahazioth, his sons and his brethren, twelve;
the twenty-fourth for Romamti-Ezer, his sons and his brethren, twelve.
Those who were written in the above-mentioned verses were among those whose names were put in lots for the ministry of the Lord and those written are the names of those whose names were chosen in the lots. Also, in 1 Chronicles 26: 1 – 5 Concerning the divisions of the gatekeepers: of the Korahites, Meshelemiah the son of Kore, of the sons of Asaph.
And the sons of Meshelemiah were Zechariah the firstborn, Jediael the second, Zebadiah the third, Jathniel the fourth,
Elam the fifth, Jehohanan the sixth, Eliehoenai the seventh.
Moreover the sons of Obed-Edom were Shemaiah the firstborn, Jehozabad the second, Joah the third, Sacar the fourth, Nethanel the fifth,
Ammiel the sixth, Issachar the seventh, Peulthai the eighth; for God blessed him.
In the above-mentioned verses, the names of the divisions of the gatekeepers are written. Gatekeepers means that we should accept the words of God, which is the gate in our life, and we should safeguard them, and God is showing such people as a pattern. Therefore our Lord Jesus Christ is saying I am the door for the sheep and he as the New Jerusalem is manifested within us as glory. Also, the temple of Jerusalem had twelve gates and God is showing that as a pattern. The deeds of these twelve gates when each one of us manifest as the glorious temple of Christ should be seen within us. The twelve gates means Sheep gate, fish gate, old gate, valley gate, dung gate, fountain gate, water gate, horse gate, east gate, Malchijah (Miphkad) gate, Ephraim gate, Gate of the prison. In this manner, we should be as those who have twelve good deeds and God is showing this as a pattern. In this manner those who are doing good deeds are blessed by the Lord and we should keep this in mind and submit ourselves as souls who are safeguarding the gate of the Lord.
Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
