“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”

Hebrews 7: 17

For He testifies: “You are a priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.”

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen

In us, the bride, the church, Christ should manifest as the priest forever.

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated how should we, the bride, the church, be part of the ministry of the altar (in Christ).

Next what we are meditating upon is that in 1 Chronicles 24: 1 – 8 Now these are the divisions of the sons of Aaron. The sons of Aaron were Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.

And Nadab and Abihu died before their father and had no children; therefore Eleazar and Ithamar ministered as priests.

Then David with Zadok of the sons of Eleazar, and Ahimelech of the sons of Ithamar, divided them according to the schedule of their service.

There were more leaders found of the sons of Eleazar than of the sons of Ithamar, and thus they were divided. Among the sons of Eleazar were sixteen heads of their fathers’ houses, and eight heads of their fathers’ houses among the sons of Ithamar.

Thus they were divided by lot, one group as another, for there were officials of the sanctuary and officials of the house of God, from the sons of Eleazar and from the sons of Ithamar.

And the scribe, Shemaiah the son of Nethanel, one of the Levites, wrote them down before the king, the leaders, Zadok the priest, Ahimelech the son of Abiathar, and the heads of the fathers’ houses of the priests and Levites, one father’s house taken for Eleazar and one for Ithamar.

Now the first lot fell to Jehoiarib, the second to Jedaiah,

the third to Harim, the fourth to Seorim,

In the above-mentioned verses, the divisions of the sons of Aaron from the tribe of Levi are given. Also, in 1 Chronicles 24: 7 – 18 Now the first lot fell to Jehoiarib, the second to Jedaiah,

the third to Harim, the fourth to Seorim,

the fifth to Malchijah, the sixth to Mijamin,

the seventh to Hakkoz, the eighth to Abijah,

the ninth to Jeshua, the tenth to Shecaniah,

the eleventh to Eliashib, the twelfth to Jakim,

the thirteenth to Huppah, the fourteenth to Jeshebeab,

the fifteenth to Bilgah, the sixteenth to Immer,

the seventeenth to Hezir, the eighteenth to Happizzez,

the nineteenth to Pethahiah, the twentieth to Jehezekel,

the twenty-first to Jachin, the twenty-second to Gamul,

the twenty-third to Delaiah, the twenty-fourth to Maaziah.

The above-mentioned people were chosen by lots. This was the schedule of their service for coming into the house of the Lord according to their ordinance by the hand of Aaron their father, as the Lord God of Israel had commanded him.

My dear people, when we meditate upon the above-mentioned words of the Lord in the above-mentioned verses what is being shown as a pattern is that Christ manifests as the priest of the altar in our souls and the Lord in the tribe of Levi in the generations of the sons of Aaron before the fathers, they wrote their names and took lots, and it is written in this manner. Casting lots means it causes contentions to cease and keeps the mighty apart and we read that as mentioned in Proverbs 18: 18. Also, the Lord is telling in Proverbs 16: 33 The lot is cast into the lap, but its every decision is from the Lord. Lots signify Christ. Lap means the word of God. The word of God, which is the glory of God as Christ enters into our body, the temple of God and to sanctify us he does the ministry of altar forever within us and he manifests as the priest. In this manner, he removes the deeds which are against the Lord within us and causes the mighty to be kept apart. Therefore let us submit ourselves for Christ to be with us and be the priest forever at the altar.

Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
