“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”
Psalms 118: 28
You are my God, and I will praise You; You are my God, I will exalt You.
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen
We, the bride, the church, should inherit the blessing by the resurrected Christ.
My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that within us, the bride, the church, Christ should arise as the church of glory.
Next what we are meditating upon is that in 1 Chronicles 23: 1 - 13 So when David was old and full of days, he made his son Solomon king over Israel.
And he gathered together all the leaders of Israel, with the priests and the Levites.
Now the Levites were numbered from the age of thirty years and above; and the number of individual males was thirty-eight thousand.
Of these, twenty-four thousand were to look after the work of the house of the Lord, six thousand were officers and judges,
four thousand were gatekeepers, and four thousand praised the Lord with musical instruments, “which I made,” said David, “for giving praise.”
Also David separated them into divisions among the sons of Levi: Gershon, Kohath, and Merari.
Of the Gershonites: Laadan and Shimei.
The sons of Laadan: the first Jehiel, then Zetham and Joel—three in all.
The sons of Shimei: Shelomith, Haziel, and Haran—three in all. These were the heads of the fathers’ houses of Laadan.
And the sons of Shimei: Jahath, Zina, Jeush, and Beriah. These were the four sons of Shimei.
Jahath was the first and Zizah the second. But Jeush and Beriah did not have many sons; therefore they were assigned as one father’s house.
The sons of Kohath: Amram, Izhar, Hebron, and Uzziel—four in all.
The sons of Amram: Aaron and Moses; and Aaron was set apart, he and his sons forever, that he should sanctify the most holy things, to burn incense before the Lord, to minister to Him, and to give the blessing in His name forever.
In the above-mentioned verses, when David was old and full of days, he made his son Solomon king over Israel. And he gathered together all the leaders of Israel, with the priests and the Levites. Now the Levites were numbered from the age of thirty years and above; and the number of individual males was thirty-eight thousand. Of these, twenty-four thousand were to look after the work of the house of the Lord, six thousand were officers and judges, four thousand were gatekeepers, and four thousand praised the Lord with musical instruments, “which I made,” said David, “for giving praise.” Also David separated them into divisions among the sons of Levi: Gershon, Kohath, and Merari.
My dear people, when we meditate upon the above-mentioned verses the Lord pre-ordained it as a pattern and is telling regarding Israel, the church, Moses and Aaron and the twelve tribes. One of these tribes, the tribe of Levi he is using Moses and Aaron and leading the church of God. But he is showing Christ as a pattern in it as the firstborn and is making the older people in Levi as heads. But Christ because he is the firstborn in resurrection after him no one is a head and the head of everything is Christ and he is explaining and showing us this. Also, the holy place should always be safe guarded as holy and before God for prayer, which is burning incense and in the name of God to give blessing Christ is only doing that and he is showing this as a pattern, and they are being separated away from others. Also, our soul should always be as those who praise and worship. Therefore we must always by our Lord Jesus Christ to inherit our blessing let us submit ourselves.
Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
