“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”

Jeremiah 18: 11

“Now therefore, speak to the men of Judah and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, saying, ‘Thus says the Lord: “Behold, I am fashioning a disaster and devising a plan against you. Return now everyone from his evil way and make your ways and your doings good.”

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen

We, the bride, the church, should fall in the hands of the Lord for the Lord to forgive the iniquity that we have done.

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that we, the bride, the church, should not number the people of the church.

Next what we are meditating upon is that in 1 Chronicles 21: 9 - 14 Then the Lord spoke to Gad, David’s seer, saying,

“Go and tell David, saying, ‘Thus says the Lord: “I offer you three things; choose one of them for yourself, that I may do it to you.”

So Gad came to David and said to him, “Thus says the Lord: ‘Choose for yourself,

either three years of famine, or three months to be defeated by your foes with the sword of your enemies overtaking you, or else for three days the sword of the Lord—the plague in the land, with the angel of the Lord destroying throughout all the territory of Israel.’ Now consider what answer I should take back to Him who sent me.”

And David said to Gad, “I am in great distress. Please let me fall into the hand of the Lord, for His mercies are very great; but do not let me fall into the hand of man.”

So the Lord sent a plague upon Israel, and seventy thousand men of Israel fell.

In the above-mentioned verses, because David realized the iniquity that he had done: the thing that David numbered Israel he looked to the Lord and said I have sinned greatly, because I have done this thing; but now, I pray, take away the iniquity of Your servant, for I have done very foolishly. Then the Lord spoke to Gad, David’s seer, saying, “Go and tell David, saying, ‘Thus says the Lord: “I offer you three things; choose one of them for yourself, that I may do it to you.” So Gad came to David and said to him, “Thus says the Lord: ‘Choose for yourself, either three years of famine, or three months to be defeated by your foes with the sword of your enemies overtaking you, or else for three days the sword of the Lord—the plague in the land, with the angel of the Lord destroying throughout all the territory of Israel.’ Now consider what answer I should take back to Him who sent me.” And David said to Gad, “I am in great distress. Please let me fall into the hand of the Lord, for His mercies are very great; but do not let me fall into the hand of man.” So the Lord sent a plague upon Israel, and seventy thousand men of Israel fell.

My dear people, when we meditate upon the above-mentioned words of the Lord, we must think that how many mistakes we are doing in our life. In these days, in the words that he has said our God does not change. Also, our Lord Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever more. But he is faithful in the calling that he has called us, and he will also do it says the word of God in 1 Thessalonians 5: 24. But if the witness of our life is not according to his calling, he changes his mind. Regarding this, the Lord is telling the house of Israel in Jeremiah 18: 6 – 10 “O house of Israel, can I not do with you as this potter?” says the Lord. “Look, as the clay is in the potter’s hand, so are you in My hand, O house of Israel!

The instant I speak concerning a nation and concerning a kingdom, to pluck up, to pull down, and to destroy it,

if that nation against whom I have spoken turns from its evil, I will relent of the disaster that I thought to bring upon it.

And the instant I speak concerning a nation and concerning a kingdom, to build and to plant it,

if it does evil in My sight so that it does not obey My voice, then I will relent concerning the good with which I said I would benefit it.

The above-mentioned word of the Lord is correcting our disobedience. Also, numbering the people of the church is an abomination to the Lord. Many among us number the people coming to the church. Or we ask about the numbers of the people coming to the church. The churches which are led in this manner there is judgement surely and even though they know this they do not realize and again they do the same iniquity. Such things are hidden from those whose inner eyes are not open. That is, three things are kept in the lives of such kind of people. If we look into these facts’ famine, plague and destruction; these are occurring in these days (days of the Son) in our soul. This is because church means Christ, regarding him in Isaiah 60: 22 A little one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation. I, the Lord, will hasten it in its time.

By these words, through Christ God will make the people multiply by hundreds. Therefore the Lord is not limited by the counting of our numbers. Therefore to remove the iniquity that we have done let us submit ourselves to the Lord. According to how we submit so that he can stop the plague in our family, in Israel let us submit ourselves.

Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
