“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”
Isaiah 53: 12
Therefore I will divide Him a portion with the great, and He shall divide the spoil with the strong, because He poured out His soul unto death, and He was numbered with the transgressors, and He bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen
We, the bride, the church, should not number the people of the church.
My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that we, the bride, the church, should destroy the deeds of the giants in our soul.
Next what we are meditating upon is that in 1 Chronicles 21: 1, 2 Now Satan stood up against Israel, and moved David to number Israel.
So David said to Joab and to the leaders of the people, “Go, number Israel from Beersheba to Dan, and bring the number of them to me that I may know it.”
The above-mentioned words are that Satan stood up against Israel and moved David to number Israel. So David said to Joab and to the leaders of the people, “Go, number Israel from Beersheba to Dan, and bring the number of them to me that I may know it.” And because Joab did not like this in 1 Chronicles 21: 3 And Joab answered, “May the Lord make His people a hundred times more than they are. But my lord the king, are they not all my lord’s servants? Why then does my lord require this thing? Why should he be a cause of guilt in Israel?”
Even though Joab said the above-mentioned words, because the king’s word prevailed against Joab. Therefore Joab departed and went throughout all Israel and came to Jerusalem. Then Joab gave the sum of the number of the people to David. All Israel had one million one hundred thousand men who drew the sword, and Judah had four hundred and seventy thousand men who drew the sword. But he did not count Levi and Benjamin among them, for the king’s word was abominable to Joab. And God was displeased with this thing; therefore He struck Israel. So David said to God, “I have sinned greatly, because I have done this thing; but now, I pray, take away the iniquity of Your servant, for I have done very foolishly.”
My dear people, when we meditate upon the above-mentioned words of the Lord, Satan to make the church, Israel which the bride, the church fall he instigated the mind of David means how careful we must be. This is because from the day that David was anointed by the Lord with horn of oil the Spirit of the Lord was upon David. Also, in all the places that David went to the Lord is protecting him. Still he is falling down. That is, Satan instigated the soul of David to number the people of Israel, the church. But Joab found this thing as an abomination. But because the word of the king prevailed, he is numbering them. But he did not count the people of the tribe of Levi and Benjamin among them. Because David is a thing which was displeasing in the sight of the Lord, so the Lord struck Israel. In this manner, because the people were struck, he realized and thought of the iniquity that he had done and confessed his sin to the Lord, and he is realizing his foolishness. In this manner, to save us from the iniquity our Lord Jesus was crushed for us, and we can read this in Isaiah 53: 5. Because he was wounded for us the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed. Therefore, in our soul whatever thoughts may arise if they are according to the Lord then Satan will not sow wicked weeds within us. Therefore, all the thoughts that arise within us are they according to the will of the Lord and we must think that many times and hand over everything into the hands of the Lord. From this the thing that we must know is that because of the wicked deeds of the those who are doing the ministry of the Lord the Lord is striking all the people of the church. Also, the Israelites that gather together as church they will be under the sight of the Lord but if we number them then it will be an abomination to the Lord. Therefore, we should not do deeds of iniquity against the Lord but submit ourselves carefully.
Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
