“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”

Romans 8: 14

For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen

We, the bride, the church, are being made as the sons of God by the Lord.

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that we, the bride, the church, should offer ourselves as a holy offering to the Lord.

Next what we are meditating upon is that in 1 Chronicles 18: 7 – 17 And David took the shields of gold that were on the servants of Hadadezer and brought them to Jerusalem.

Also from Tibhath and from Chun, cities of Hadadezer, David brought a large amount of bronze, with which Solomon made the bronze Sea, the pillars, and the articles of bronze.

Now when Tou king of Hamath heard that David had defeated all the army of Hadadezer king of Zobah,

he sent Hadoram his son to King David, to greet him and bless him, because he had fought against Hadadezer and defeated him (for Hadadezer had been at war with Tou); and Hadoram brought with him all kinds of articles of gold, silver, and bronze.

King David also dedicated these to the Lord, along with the silver and gold that he had brought from all these nations—from Edom, from Moab, from the people of Ammon, from the Philistines, and from Amalek.

Moreover Abishai the son of Zeruiah killed eighteen thousand Edomites in the Valley of Salt.

He also put garrisons in Edom, and all the Edomites became David’s servants. And the Lord preserved David wherever he went.

So David reigned over all Israel and administered judgment and justice to all his people.

Joab the son of Zeruiah was over the army; Jehoshaphat the son of Ahilud was recorder;

Zadok the son of Ahitub and Abimelech the son of Abiathar were the priests; Shavsha was the scribe;

Benaiah the son of Jehoiada was over the Cherethites and the Pelethites; and David’s sons were chief ministers at the king’s side.

In the above-mentioned verses, David took the shields of gold that were on the servants of Hadadezer, the king of Zobah and brought them to Jerusalem. Shields of gold means eternal life, which is the Spirit of adoption (Cleansed by the word of Christ and receiving the adoption). Also from Tibhath and from Chun, cities of Hadadezer, David brought a large amount of bronze, with which Solomon made the bronze Sea, the pillars, and the articles of bronze. Now when Tou king of Hamath heard that David had defeated all the army of Hadadezer king of Zobah, he sent Hadoram his son to King David, to greet him and bless him, because he had fought against Hadadezer and defeated him (for Hadadezer had been at war with Tou); and Hadoram brought with him all kinds of articles of gold, silver, and bronze. Joab the son of Zeruiah was over the army; Jehoshaphat the son of Ahilud was recorder; Zadok the son of Ahitub and Abimelech the son of Abiathar were the priests; Shavsha was the scribe; Benaiah the son of Jehoiada was over the Cherethites and the Pelethites; and David’s sons were chief ministers at the king’s side.

My dear people, when we meditate upon the above-mentioned verses, how the Lord is making us as the sons of God and how he is destroying our curses God is showing as a pattern. That is, in our forefather’s traditional customs he is destroying the deeds of the flesh. Also, in our life bronze sea, which is the true Holy Spirit according to the true word of God he is removing all the evil deeds which are against the truth from us and changes all the things of injustice that were within us and by the righteousness of Christ he is filling us. Also, all the deeds of the Gentiles that were within us like gold, silver, bronze these should be submitted to the Lord to be sanctified and if we submit in this manner then the Lord in our soul will do righteousness and justice and he will be the recorder, priest and chief minister in everything and work by giving us his spirit and making us his son. In this manner, let us submit ourselves to be the sons of God.

Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
