“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”
Psalms 50: 5
“Gather My saints together to Me, those who have made a covenant with Me by sacrifice.”
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen
We, the bride, the church, should offer ourselves as an holy offering to the Lord.
My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that our soul, the bride, the church, should be as an eternal house which has received the blessing of the Lord.
Next what we are meditating upon is that in 1 Chronicles 18: 1 – 6 After this it came to pass that David attacked the Philistines, subdued them, and took Gath and its towns from the hand of the Philistines.
Then he defeated Moab, and the Moabites became David’s servants, and brought tribute.
And David defeated Hadadezer king of Zobah as far as Hamath, as he went to establish his power by the River Euphrates.
David took from him one thousand chariots, seven thousand horsemen, and twenty thousand foot soldiers. Also David hamstrung all the chariot horses, except that he spared enough of them for one hundred chariots.
When the Syrians of Damascus came to help Hadadezer king of Zobah, David killed twenty-two thousand of the Syrians.
Then David put garrisons in Syria of Damascus; and the Syrians became David’s servants and brought tribute. So the Lord preserved David wherever he went.
In the above-mentioned verses, David attacked the Philistines, (precious decorative things) and subdued them, and took Gath and its towns from the hand of the Philistines. Then he defeated Moab, (proud person) and the Moabites became David’s servants and brought tribute.
My dear people, when we meditate upon the above-mentioned words of the Lord in our life the Lord is showing us as a pattern that in our soul the enemies that arise which God does not desire like pride, jealousy which are the wicked thoughts everything should be subdued from us and our spirit, soul and body completely if we submit completely as a holy offering to the Lord then the Lord in all the places that we go and come the Lord will protect us. In this manner, let us completely submit ourselves to the Lord.
Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
