“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”

Leviticus 20: 26

And you shall be holy to Me, for I the Lord am holy, and have separated you from the peoples, that you should be Mine.

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen

We, the bride, the church, for the work of the Lord let us sanctify ourselves and make ourselves worthy.

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that we, the bride, the church, should establish the fame of the Lord.

Next what we are meditating upon is that in the verse 1 Chronicles 15: 1 – 3 David built houses for himself in the City of David; and he prepared a place for the ark of God and pitched a tent for it.

Then David said, “No one may carry the ark of God but the Levites, for the Lord has chosen them to carry the ark of God and to minister before Him forever.”

And David gathered all Israel together at Jerusalem, to bring up the ark of the Lord to its place, which he had prepared for it.

In the above-mentioned verses, David built houses for himself in the City of David; and he prepared a place for the ark of God and pitched a tent for it. Then David said, “No one may carry the ark of God but the Levites, for the Lord has chosen them to carry the ark of God and to minister before Him forever.” And David gathered all Israel together at Jerusalem, to bring up the ark of the Lord to its place, which he had prepared for it. 1 Chronicles 15: 4 – 14 Then David assembled the children of Aaron and the Levites:

of the sons of Kohath, Uriel the chief, and one hundred and twenty of his brethren;

of the sons of Merari, Asaiah the chief, and two hundred and twenty of his brethren;

of the sons of Gershom, Joel the chief, and one hundred and thirty of his brethren;

of the sons of Elizaphan, Shemaiah the chief, and two hundred of his brethren;

of the sons of Hebron, Eliel the chief, and eighty of his brethren;

of the sons of Uzziel, Amminadab the chief, and one hundred and twelve of his brethren.

And David called for Zadok and Abiathar the priests, and for the Levites: for Uriel, Asaiah, Joel, Shemaiah, Eliel, and Amminadab.

He said to them, “You are the heads of the fathers’ houses of the Levites; sanctify yourselves, you and your brethren, that you may bring up the ark of the Lord God of Israel to the place I have prepared for it.

For because you did not do it the first time, the Lord our God broke out against us, because we did not consult Him about the proper order.”

So the priests and the Levites sanctified themselves to bring up the ark of the Lord God of Israel.

  In the above-mentioned verses, David assembled everyone who are mentioned. For because you did not do it the first time, the Lord our God broke out against us, because we did not consult Him about the proper order.” So the priests and the Levites sanctified themselves to bring up the ark of the Lord God of Israel.

My dear people, the priests who bring up the ark of the Lord and keep it in the place prepared for it means that those who are teaching us the word of the Lord through Christ and leading us, the Lord is showing us as a pattern in the previous words. The servants of the Lord who are preaching the words of the Lord and all those who are serving the Lord in different ways should sanctify themselves by the word of the Lord. This is because the Lord: the Lord has chosen the tribe of Levi for this means they should obey the voice of the Lord immediately and they should not make themselves be under the bondage of any lusts of the world and only hold on to what the Lord has given them and came forward to do the work of the Lord. Therefore, the Lord chose the tribe of Levi. Like this, we also for the temple of the Lord to be manifested within us he has prepared a place. Therefore each one of us should be as the temple where the Holy Spirit dwells and should always sanctify ourselves and to preach in Jerusalem, the church of the Lord, they should prepare themselves. Also, if we do not carry the words of the Lord and go and if we do not seek him justly then the Lord will make wickedness fall within each one of us. Therefore, we must change ourselves to obey the voice of the Lord and seek him diligently and justly. In this manner, each one of us should walk in the way of the Lord and submit ourselves to be worthy for him.

Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
