“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”

Psalms 45: 17

I will make Your name to be remembered in all generations; Therefore the people shall praise You forever and ever.

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen

We, the bride, the church, should establish the fame of the Lord.

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that we, the bride, the church, should suffer for the churches to increase through Christ.

Next what we are meditating upon is that in the verse 1 Chronicles 14: 12 - 17 And when they left their gods there, David gave a commandment, and they were burned with fire.

Then the Philistines once again made a raid on the valley.

Therefore David inquired again of God, and God said to him, “You shall not go up after them; circle around them and come upon them in front of the mulberry trees.

And it shall be, when you hear a sound of marching in the tops of the mulberry trees, then you shall go out to battle, for God has gone out before you to strike the camp of the Philistines.”

So David did as God commanded him, and they drove back the army of the Philistines from Gibeon as far as Gezer.

Then the fame of David went out into all lands, and the Lord brought the fear of him upon all nations.

In the above-mentioned verses, when David defeated the Philistines, they left their gods and ran away. According to what David commanded they were burned with fire. Then the Philistines once again made a raid on the valley. Therefore David inquired again of God, and God said to him, “You shall not go up after them; circle around them and come upon them in front of the mulberry trees. And it shall be, when you hear a sound of marching in the tops of the mulberry trees, then you shall go out to battle, for God has gone out before you to strike the camp of the Philistines.”  So David did as God commanded him, and they drove back the army of the Philistines from Gibeon as far as Gezer.  Then the fame of David went out into all lands, and the Lord brought the fear of him upon all nations.

My dear people, in the above-mentioned verses God is using David and showing us as a pattern that even though the deeds of the Philistines are completely removed from us in many souls they come again, and they come and try to take a place. Therefore, we must obey the words of the Lord and defeat them then within us the fame of the Lord will be established. In this manner, let us submit ourselves for the Lord.

Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
