“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”

Ephesians 1: 3

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen

Our soul, the bride, the church, the house of God will be blessed by the word of God.

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that we, the bride, the church should gather together as one the people who are scattered.

Next what we are meditating upon is that in the verse 1 Chronicles 13: 5 - 14 So David gathered all Israel together, from Shihor in Egypt to as far as the entrance of Hamath, to bring the ark of God from Kirjath Jearim.

And David and all Israel went up to Baalah, to Kirjath Jearim, which belonged to Judah, to bring up from there the ark of God the Lord, who dwells between the cherubim, where His name is proclaimed.

So they carried the ark of God on a new cart from the house of Abinadab, and Uzza and Ahio drove the cart.

Then David and all Israel played music before God with all their might, with singing, on harps, on stringed instruments, on tambourines, on cymbals, and with trumpets.

And when they came to Chidon’s threshing floor, Uzza put out his hand to hold the ark, for the oxen stumbled.

Then the anger of the Lord was aroused against Uzza, and He struck him because he put his hand to the ark; and he died there before God.

And David became angry because of the Lord’s outbreak against Uzza; therefore that place is called Perez Uzza to this day.

David was afraid of God that day, saying, “How can I bring the ark of God to me?”

So David would not move the ark with him into the City of David but took it aside into the house of Obed-Edom the Gittite.

The ark of God remained with the family of Obed-Edom in his house three months. And the Lord blessed the house of Obed-Edom and all that he had.

In the above-mentioned verses, David gathered all Israel together, from Shihor in Egypt to as far as the entrance of Hamath, to bring the ark of God from Kirjath Jearim. David was afraid of God that day, saying, “How can I bring the ark of God to me?” So David would not move the ark with him into the City of David but took it aside into the house of Obed-Edom the Gittite. The ark of God remained with the family of Obed-Edom in his house three months. And the Lord blessed the house of Obed-Edom and all that he had.

My dear people, in the previous words of God the ark of God means that he is showing as a pattern Christ who is filled with the word of God. That is, that ark is for our blessing. That is only the word of the Lord. When we accept this word of God our soul which is the house of God is being blessed. That word of God is very holy. We must accept this word of God and by that word we must be led. If we are led in this manner, then we will be made holy. Also, those who are leading a holy life can only possess the blessings through it. If those who are unclean and those with abominations handle it the anger of the Lord will come upon them. Therefore, due to fear David did not take the ark of God to his house and he is keeping it in the house of Obed-Edom. While it was there for three months, the Lord blessed that house and all that he had. Therefore my dear people, in our life of those who have accepted the Lord Christ we should always be holy and fear the Lord in trembling and walk according to his word and serve him. Then our soul, which is the house of God will be blessed with all the blessings of the Most high.

Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
