“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”
Joel 2: 27
Then you shall know that I am in the midst of Israel: I am the Lord your God and there is no other. My people shall never be put to shame.
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen
We, the bride, the church should cross Jordan through Christ.
My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that we, the bride, the church should destroy the evil teaching.
Next what we are meditating upon is that in the verse 1 Chronicles 12: 1, 2 Now these were the men who came to David at Ziklag while he was still a fugitive from Saul the son of Kish; and they were among the mighty men, helpers in the war,
armed with bows, using both the right hand and the left in hurling stones and shooting arrows with the bow. They were of Benjamin, Saul’s brethren.
Now these were the men who came to David at Ziklag while he was still a fugitive from Saul the son of Kish; and they were among the mighty men, helpers in the war, armed with bows, using both the right hand and the left in hurling stones and shooting arrows with the bow. They were of Benjamin, Saul’s brethren. In 1 Chronicles 12: 3 – 7 The chief was Ahiezer, then Joash, the sons of Shemaah the Gibeathite; Jeziel and Pelet the sons of Azmaveth; Berachah, and Jehu the Anathothite;
Ishmaiah the Gibeonite, a mighty man among the thirty, and over the thirty; Jeremiah, Jahaziel, Johanan, and Jozabad the Gederathite;
Eluzai, Jerimoth, Bealiah, Shemariah, and Shephatiah the Haruphite;
Elkanah, Jisshiah, Azarel, Joezer, and Jashobeam, the Korahites;
and Joelah and Zebadiah the sons of Jeroham of Gedor.
They were mentioned in the verses. Some Gadites joined David at the stronghold in the wilderness, mighty men of valor, men trained for battle, who could handle shield and spear, whose faces were like the faces of lions, and were as swift as gazelles on the mountains. Ezer the first, Obadiah the second, Eliab the third, Mishmannah the fourth, Jeremiah the fifth, Attai the sixth, Eliel the seventh, Johanan the eighth, Elzabad the ninth, Jeremiah the tenth, and Machbanai the eleventh. These were from the sons of Gad, captains of the army; the least was over a hundred, and the greatest was over a thousand. These are the ones who crossed the Jordan in the first month, when it had overflowed all its banks; and they put to flight all those in the valleys, to the east and to the west.
My dear people, the above-mentioned verses are given as a pattern to us. That is, whatever type of person we may be if we will unite with the Lord then he will prepare us for him and will change us as a weapon that fights against the enemy and overcomes it and he will work in us as a warrior. Also, when we read those who were chosen by God how they were is written. Also, we must also be as those who face the tribulations that come to the children of God. The one who prepares us for this is our God. He alone stands before us and works everything and gives us victory. Then our race will be victorious, and we will not be ashamed. In this manner, let us submit ourselves to the Lord.
Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
