“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”
Isaiah 33: 5
The Lord is exalted, for He dwells on high; He has filled Zion with justice and righteousness.
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen
We, the bride, the church should increase in spiritual growth day by day.
My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that we, the bride, the church should enter into Zion.
Next what we are meditating upon is that in the verse 1 Chronicles 11: 6 - 9 Now David said, “Whoever attacks the Jebusites first shall be chief and captain.” And Joab the son of Zeruiah went up first and became chief.
Then David dwelt in the stronghold; therefore they called it the City of David.
And he built the city around it, from the Millo to the surrounding area. Joab repaired the rest of the city.
So David went on and became great, and the Lord of hosts was with him.
In the above-mentioned words of the Lord, even though the inhabitants of Jebus said to David, “You shall not come in here!” Nevertheless David took the stronghold of Zion. David said, “Whoever attacks the Jebusites first shall be chief and captain.” And Joab the son of Zeruiah went up first and became chief. Then David dwelt in the stronghold; therefore they called it the City of David. And he built the city around it, from the Millo to the surrounding area. Joab repaired the rest of the city. So David went on and became great, and the Lord of hosts was with him.
My dear people, because the deeds of Jebus tell us that we cannot enter Zion and hinder us so we must overcome them first. Only then we can live as Zion along with Christ. Therefore the deeds of Jebus (thoughts of flesh) should first be removed away from us. Then in each and every one of our things we must correct ourselves according to the words of the Lord. Then only we can flourish in our spiritual growth. And the Lord will be with us. In this manner, we must submit ourselves to the Lord.
Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
