“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”

Matthew 19: 24

And again I say to you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen

We, the bride, the church, should walk in the laws of the Lord without fail.

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that we, the bride, the church, should be as those who follow only the Lord.

Next what we are meditating upon is that 2 Kings 25: 3 – 7 By the ninth day of the fourth month the famine had become so severe in the city that there was no food for the people of the land.

Then the city wall was broken through, and all the men of war fled at night by way of the gate between two walls, which was by the king’s garden, even though the Chaldeans were still encamped all around against the city. And the king went by way of the plain.

But the army of the Chaldeans pursued the king, and they overtook him in the plains of Jericho. All his army was scattered from him.

So they took the king and brought him up to the king of Babylon at Riblah, and they pronounced judgment on him.

Then they killed the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes, put out the eyes of Zedekiah, bound him with bronze fetters, and took him to Babylon.

In the above-mentioned verses, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon while Zedekiah was reigning Judah besieged the city of Jerusalem and by the ninth day of the fourth month the famine had become so severe in the city that there was no food for the people of the land. Then in 2 Kings 25: 8 – 12 And in the fifth month, on the seventh day of the month (which was the nineteenth year of King Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon), Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard, a servant of the king of Babylon, came to Jerusalem.

He burned the house of the Lord and the king’s house; all the houses of Jerusalem, that is, all the houses of the great, he burned with fire.

And all the army of the Chaldeans who were with the captain of the guard broke down the walls of Jerusalem all around.

Then Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard carried away captive the rest of the people who remained in the city and the defectors who had deserted to the king of Babylon, with the rest of the multitude.

But the captain of the guard left some of the poor of the land as vinedressers and farmers.

When we consider the facts of the above-mentioned verses, Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard, a servant of the king of Babylon, came to Jerusalem.

My dear people, the above-mentioned are being explained as a pattern for us. The facts regarding these are that our soul, which has been saved when it is being deceived by Babylon, the spirit of the world then we will not get the sufficient food for our soul. In this manner our soul becomes weary and the openings of our walls of salvation will fall. Then the Chaldeans, who are the Babylonians (deeds of the world) will surround us. In this manner, when the enemies are oppressing us if we do not have the grace of God we will slip and fall. Then we will be caught by the enemy. Then all the thoughts of our soul will be scattered. The reason for this is that because we do not follow all the laws of the Lord and are doing what is wicked the Lord will submit us into the hands of the king of Babylon, the ruler of the world. Then our spiritual eyes will be made blind, and we are being bound by bronze fetters. Then the temple of God, palace of the king and the great houses are all burned by fire means after we have been manifested as the temple of God, he is blessing us as the palace of the king and the house of God. The ruler of the world, the devil who sees these burns everything and breaks down all the walls surrounding us. In this manner, our soul is being deceived and captured by the thoughts of the world. Then those who were going towards Babylon and those who escaped and were remaining Babylon is capturing and taking them. But in the land (church of Christ) the poor souls who were remaining some were made as vinedressers and farmers. Therefore, my dear people in these days when we see those with little riches do not leave their honours, decorations and things according to the flesh and walk according to the world and are feeding themselves. That is why, our Lord Jesus Christ said it is difficult for the rich to enter heaven. Therefore we must not unite with the spirit of the world and carefully safeguard ourselves.

Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
