“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”

Psalms 119: 8

I will keep Your statutes; Oh, do not forsake me utterly!

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen

We, the bride, the church, should do the will of the Lord and let his glory manifest within us.

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that we, the bride, the church, should make ourselves holy and partake in the Holy Supper.

Next what we are meditating upon is that 2 Kings 23: 24 Moreover Josiah put away those who consulted mediums and spiritists, the household gods and idols, all the abominations that were seen in the land of Judah and in Jerusalem, that he might perform the words of the law which were written in the book that Hilkiah the priest found in the house of the Lord.

In the above-mentioned verses, king Josiah put away those who consulted mediums and spiritists, the household gods and idols, all the abominations that were seen in the land of Judah and in Jerusalem, that he might perform the words of the law which were written in the book that Hilkiah the priest found in the house of the Lord. Also, in 2 Kings 23: 25 – 28 Now before him there was no king like him, who turned to the Lord with all his heart, with all his soul, and with all his might, according to all the Law of Moses; nor after him did any arise like him.

Nevertheless the Lord did not turn from the fierceness of His great wrath, with which His anger was aroused against Judah, because of all the provocations with which Manasseh had provoked Him.

And the Lord said, “I will also remove Judah from My sight, as I have removed Israel, and will cast off this city Jerusalem which I have chosen, and the house of which I said, ‘My name shall be there.’

Now the rest of the acts of Josiah, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?

In the above-mentioned verses, now before him there was no king like him, who turned to the Lord with all his heart, with all his soul, and with all his might, according to all the Law of Moses; nor after him did any arise like him. Nevertheless the Lord did not turn from the fierceness of His great wrath, with which His anger was aroused against Judah, because of all the provocations with which Manasseh had provoked Him. And the Lord said, “I will also remove Judah from My sight, as I have removed Israel, and will cast off this city Jerusalem which I have chosen, and the house of which I said, ‘My name shall be there.’ Now the rest of the acts of Josiah, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?

My dear people, the fact in the above-mentioned verses is that we must lean ourselves towards the Lord to walk according to the law of the Lord with our whole mind. Also, we must remove all the wicked abominations that are in us. But in our body, which is our church even though the Lord says that I will manifest the glory of the Lord but if there are things which anger the Lord within us then he will push us away from his face and he is saying that he will hate and leave us. Therefore, my dear people in Christ, each one of us must submit ourselves so that we will not move away from his face so that he does not leave and hate us and let us submit ourselves do his will.

Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
