“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”
Psalms 6: 4
Return, O Lord, deliver me! Oh, save me for Your mercies’ sake!
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen
The rising up of our soul, the bride, the church as the church of God (as the church of glory).
My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated we, the bride, the church for the mistakes done by a person we must humble ourselves as a church and submit ourselves to the Lord.
Next what we are meditating upon is that 2 Kings 20: 7 - 11 Then Isaiah said, “Take a lump of figs.” So they took and laid it on the boil, and he recovered.
And Hezekiah said to Isaiah, “What is the sign that the Lord will heal me, and that I shall go up to the house of the Lord the third day?”
Then Isaiah said, “This is the sign to you from the Lord, that the Lord will do the thing which He has spoken: shall the shadow go forward ten degrees or go backward ten degrees?”
And Hezekiah answered, “It is an easy thing for the shadow to go down ten degrees; no, but let the shadow go backward ten degrees.”
So Isaiah the prophet cried out to the Lord, and He brought the shadow ten degrees backward, by which it had gone down on the sundial of Ahaz.
When we meditate upon the above-mentioned words, when Isaiah is telling the words of the Lord regarding Hezekiah, I have seen your tears; surely, I will heal you. On the third day you shall go up to the house of the Lord. And I will add to your days fifteen years. This means that God is showing this as a pattern for the benefit of our soul. Also, he tells to bring lumps of figs and when they brought them and laid them on the boils, he recovered means our soul, by the grace of Christ is putting on the image of his glory and is resurrecting and the Lord is explaining and showing us. And Hezekiah said to Isaiah, “What is the sign that the Lord will heal me, and that I shall go up to the house of the Lord the third day?” Then Isaiah said, “This is the sign to you from the Lord, that the Lord will do the thing which He has spoken: shall the shadow go forward ten degrees or go backward ten degrees?” And Hezekiah answered, “It is an easy thing for the shadow to go down ten degrees; no, but let the shadow go backward ten degrees.” So Isaiah the prophet cried out to the Lord, and He brought the shadow ten degrees backward, by which it had gone down on the sundial of Ahaz.
My dear people, when we meditate upon the above-mentioned words of the Lord when Hezekiah humbled himself in the presence of the Lord, just like he asked the Lord brought the shadow ten degrees backward, by which it had gone down on the sundial of Ahaz, and he added to his days of life fifteen years. Also, regarding the day of the Lord we cannot put a calculation because in Psalms 90: 4 For a thousand years in Your sight are like yesterday when it is past, and like a watch in the night.
In the above-mentioned verses, a thousand years for the Lord are like yesterday when it is past and like a watch in the night. Therefore, in the life of Hezekiah the Lord increasing fifteen years means he is showing as a pattern that the body of Christ is of everlasting life and this is regarding the salvation of our soul. Therefore regarding this, in Isaiah 38: 15 – 21 “What shall I say? He has both spoken to me, and He Himself has done it. I shall walk carefully all my years in the bitterness of my soul.
O Lord, by these things men live; and in all these things is the life of my spirit; so You will restore me and make me live.
Indeed it was for my own peace that I had great bitterness; But You have lovingly delivered my soul from the pit of corruption, for You have cast all my sins behind Your back.
For Sheol cannot thank You, death cannot praise You; Those who go down to the pit cannot hope for Your truth.
The living, the living man, he shall praise You, as I do this day; The father shall make known Your truth to the children.
“The Lord was ready to save me; Therefore we will sing my songs with stringed instruments all the days of our life, in the house of the Lord.”
Now Isaiah had said, “Let them take a lump of figs, and apply it as a poultice on the boil, and he shall recover.”
In the above-mentioned verses, because it has been written that the Lord was ready to save me; Therefore we will sing my songs with stringed instruments all the days of our life, in the house of the Lord, when the Lord Jesus Christ resurrects within us then our soul is resurrected and is rising as the church of the Lord. Therefore we will be as the stringed instrument and sing and praise the Lord. Let us submit ourselves in this manner.
Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
