“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”

1 Peter 4: 14

If you are reproached for the name of Christ, blessed are you, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you. On their part He is blasphemed, but on your part, He is glorified.

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen

In our life, the bride, the church for the blasphemy and reproaches we should not worry or fear.

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that we, the bride, the church should not leave the Lord and lose the way and should not be deceived but live depending upon the Lord.

Next what we are meditating upon is that 2 Kings 19: 1 - 7 And so it was, when King Hezekiah heard it, that he tore his clothes, covered himself with sackcloth, and went into the house of the Lord.

Then he sent Eliakim, who was over the household, Shebna the scribe, and the elders of the priests, covered with sackcloth, to Isaiah the prophet, the son of Amoz.

And they said to him, “Thus says Hezekiah: ‘This day is a day of trouble, and rebuke, and blasphemy; for the children have come to birth, but there is no strength to bring them forth.

It may be that the Lord your God will hear all the words of the Rabshakeh, whom his master the king of Assyria has sent to reproach the living God and will rebuke the words which the Lord your God has heard. Therefore lift up your prayer for the remnant that is left.’

So the servants of King Hezekiah came to Isaiah.

And Isaiah said to them, “Thus you shall say to your master, ‘Thus says the Lord: “Do not be afraid of the words which you have heard, with which the servants of the king of Assyria have blasphemed Me.

Surely I will send a spirit upon him, and he shall hear a rumor and return to his own land; and I will cause him to fall by the sword in his own land.”

In the above-mentioned verses, the people of Hezekiah who heard what the king of Assyria told and send through Rabshakeh came and informed those things to king Hezekiah. When King Hezekiah heard it, that he tore his clothes, covered himself with sackcloth, and went into the house of the Lord. Therefore lift up your prayer for the remnant that is left.’ So the servants of King Hezekiah came to Isaiah.

My dear people, the above-mentioned words in our life who are being saved, we will have tribulations, blasphemy and strong words from the king of Assyria, which are our traditional spirit of the world. If we will inform this thing to the Lord, then he will send a spirit within us. The things regarding that spirit we will meditate tomorrow God willing. In this manner, we must keep this fact in mind that God is the one who does not submit us to tribulations and blasphemy of the enemy and delivers and saves us and let us submit ourselves to follow the Lord and live.

Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
