“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”

Psalms 9: 10

And those who know Your name will put their trust in You; For You, Lord, have not forsaken those who seek You.

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen

We, the bride, the church should not fall by the cunningness of Satan.

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that we, the bride, the church should not have any traditional worships in us, and decorations of the flesh and we should safeguard ourselves carefully.

Next what we are meditating upon is that 2 Kings 18: 9 – 13 Now it came to pass in the fourth year of King Hezekiah, which was the seventh year of Hoshea the son of Elah, king of Israel, that Shalmaneser king of Assyria came up against Samaria and besieged it.

And at the end of three years they took it. In the sixth year of Hezekiah, that is, the ninth year of Hoshea king of Israel, Samaria was taken.

Then the king of Assyria carried Israel away captive to Assyria, and put them in Halah and by the Habor, the River of Gozan, and in the cities of the Medes,

because they did not obey the voice of the Lord their God but transgressed His covenant and all that Moses the servant of the Lord had commanded; and they would neither hear nor do them.

And in the fourteenth year of King Hezekiah, Sennacherib king of Assyria came up against all the fortified cities of Judah and took them.

In the above-mentioned verses, in the fourth year of King Hezekiah, which was the seventh year of Hoshea the son of Elah, king of Israel, that Shalmaneser king of Assyria came up against Samaria and besieged it. And at the end of three years they took it. In the sixth year of Hezekiah, that is, the ninth year of Hoshea king of Israel, Samaria was taken. Then the king of Assyria carried Israel away captive to Assyria, and put them in Halah and by the Habor, the River of Gozan, and in the cities of the Medes, because they did not obey the voice of the Lord their God but transgressed His covenant and all that Moses the servant of the Lord had commanded; and they would neither hear nor do them. And in the fourteenth year of King Hezekiah, Sennacherib king of Assyria came up against all the fortified cities of Judah and took them. Then Hezekiah king of Judah sent to the king of Assyria at Lachish, saying, in 2 Kings 18: 14 Then Hezekiah king of Judah sent to the king of Assyria at Lachish, saying, “I have done wrong; turn away from me; whatever you impose on me I will pay.” And the king of Assyria assessed Hezekiah king of Judah three hundred talents of silver and thirty talents of gold.

Even after telling the above-mentioned things and sending the king of Assyria assessed Hezekiah king of Judah three hundred talents of silver and thirty talents of gold. So Hezekiah gave him all the silver that was found in the house of the Lord and in the treasuries of the king’s house. Then Hezekiah in 2 Kings 18: 16 At that time Hezekiah stripped the gold from the doors of the temple of the Lord, and from the pillars which Hezekiah king of Judah had overlaid and gave it to the king of Assyria.

Even though Hezekiah gave the above-mentioned things to the king of Assyria, the king of Assyria in 2 Kings 18: 17, 18 Then the king of Assyria sent the Tartan, the Rabsaris, and the Rabshakeh from Lachish, with a great army against Jerusalem, to King Hezekiah. And they went up and came to Jerusalem. When they had come up, they went and stood by the aqueduct from the upper pool, which was on the highway to the Fuller’s Field.

And when they had called to the king, Eliakim the son of Hilkiah, who was over the household, Shebna the scribe, and Joah the son of Asaph, the recorder, came out to them.

The explanation regarding the above-mentioned is that if our soul, which is the temple of God is deceived God is showing us as a pattern regarding what will happen in our soul. That is, my dear people we, who listen and walk according to the voice of the Lord should never think about our traditions. If we fall in any one thing also then our soul is made captive and then our whole soul goes away far from the Lord, and we do not obey his words and we are filled with the pleasures of the world. But if the enemy keeps the few spiritual things that the Lord has given us under bondage, then the enemy will not go away only with that but thinking that he should destroy from the root the full strength that the Lord has given us, and he will come and stand within our soul with a great army and he will cunningly pull us towards himself. Therefore we must always be careful, and we should not allow the decorations of the world, desires, lusts infatuations all these to touch our soul even little but we must hold on only to the Lord and serve the Lord.

Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
