“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”
Psalms 86: 11
Teach me Your way, O Lord; I will walk in Your truth; Unite my heart to fear Your name.
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen
We must safeguard ourselves by not moving away from the truth so that the Lord does not remove the lampstand that is within our soul, the bride, the church
My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that we, the bride, the church should submit ourselves first as an offering to the Lord.
Next what we are meditating upon is that 2 Kings 12: 16 – 21 The money from the trespass offerings and the money from the sin offerings was not brought into the house of the Lord. It belonged to the priests.
Hazael king of Syria went up and fought against Gath and took it; then Hazael set his face to go up to Jerusalem.
And Jehoash king of Judah took all the sacred things that his fathers, Jehoshaphat and Jehoram and Ahaziah, kings of Judah, had dedicated, and his own sacred things, and all the gold found in the treasuries of the house of the Lord and in the king’s house, and sent them to Hazael king of Syria. Then he went away from Jerusalem.
Now the rest of the acts of Joash, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?
And his servants arose and formed a conspiracy, and killed Joash in the house of the Millo, which goes down to Silla.
For Jozachar the son of Shimeath and Jehozabad the son of Shomer, his servants, struck him. So he died, and they buried him with his fathers in the City of David. Then Amaziah his son reigned in his place.
In the above-mentioned verses, it is written regarding which offerings belong to his servants among the offerings of the Lord. Also, the thing that we must think is that our soul is being captured by the enemy and if we know this, we will never want to give him the holy things which are there within our soul so that we do not become into bondage we must safeguard ourselves. In this manner, if we become under the bondage of the deceiving spirit, he will always enter in our life and disorganize it. Therefore we must always be prepared to fight against the enemy. This is because we see that in the beginning Joash did everything that was pleasing to the Lord. But the kings of Judah after they sent all the things that were made holy to the king of Syria, he loses the holiness in his life. Then what he does is that 2 Chronicles 24: 17 – 25 Now after the death of Jehoiada the leaders of Judah came and bowed down to the king. And the king listened to them.
Therefore they left the house of the Lord God of their fathers and served wooden images and idols; and wrath came upon Judah and Jerusalem because of their trespass.
Yet He sent prophets to them, to bring them back to the Lord; and they testified against them, but they would not listen.
Then the Spirit of God came upon Zechariah the son of Jehoiada the priest, who stood above the people, and said to them, “Thus says God: ‘Why do you transgress the commandments of the Lord, so that you cannot prosper? Because you have forsaken the Lord, He also has forsaken you.’
So they conspired against him, and at the command of the king they stoned him with stones in the court of the house of the Lord.
Thus Joash the king did not remember the kindness which Jehoiada his father had done to him, but killed his son; and as he died, he said, “The Lord look on it, and repay!”
So it happened in the spring of the year that the army of Syria came up against him; and they came to Judah and Jerusalem and destroyed all the leaders of the people from among the people and sent all their spoil to the king of Damascus.
For the army of the Syrians came with a small company of men; but the Lord delivered a very great army into their hand, because they had forsaken the Lord God of their fathers. So they executed judgment against Joash.
And when they had withdrawn from him (for they left him severely wounded), his own servants conspired against him because of the blood of the sons of Jehoiada the priest and killed him on his bed. So he died. And they buried him in the City of David, but they did not bury him in the tombs of the kings.
In the above-mentioned verses, because Joash did wicked things and because he left the Lord God of his father’s even though the army of the Syrians came with a small company of men the Lord delivered the Israelites into the hands of the Syrians. So they executed judgment against Joash. In this manner, they put him into great pain and after they left his own servants conspired against him because of the blood of the sons of Jehoiada the priest and killed him on his bed. So he died. And they buried him in the City of David, but they did not bury him in the tombs of the kings.
Therefore, my dear people if we move away from the truthful ways of the Lord which we hear about our holy life is disorganized by the foreign spirit. After that we will live in a way according to our own mind. Then the Lord will submit us completely into the hands of the enemy and when we do not repent, he will move away from us. Then we lose the anointing that we have received and will continue to do abominations and fall again in the sinful clay and lose the life of our soul and we become the reason for our soul to die. Therefore, we in our lives should be careful all the time. My dear people who are reading this we must never be deceived by foreign spirits in our life and to safeguard ourselves let us submit ourselves to the Lord.
Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
