“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”

Isaiah 32: 18

My people will dwell in a peaceful habitation, in secure dwellings, and in quiet resting places.

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen

The changing of us, the bride, the church into Zion.

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that in we, the bride, the church should through Christ renew the anointing that we lost once again.

Next what we are meditating upon is that

2 Kings 11: 13 - 21

Now when Athaliah heard the noise of the escorts and the people, she came to the people in the temple of the Lord.

When she looked, there was the king standing by a pillar according to custom; and the leaders and the trumpeters were by the king. All the people of the land were rejoicing and blowing trumpets. So Athaliah tore her clothes and cried out, “Treason! Treason!”

And Jehoiada the priest commanded the captains of the hundreds, the officers of the army, and said to them, “Take her outside under guard, and slay with the sword whoever follows her.” For the priest had said, “Do not let her be killed in the house of the Lord.”

So they seized her; and she went by way of the horses’ entrance into the king’s house, and there she was killed.

Then Jehoiada made a covenant between the Lord, the king, and the people, that they should be the Lord’s people, and also between the king and the people.

And all the people of the land went to the temple of Baal and tore it down. They thoroughly broke in pieces its altars and images and killed Mattan the priest of Baal before the altars. And the priest appointed officers over the house of the Lord.

Then he took the captains of hundreds, the bodyguards, the escorts, and all the people of the land; and they brought the king down from the house of the Lord and went by way of the gate of the escorts to the king’s house. Then he sat on the throne of the kings.

So all the people of the land rejoiced; and the city was quiet, for they had slain Athaliah with the sword in the king’s house.

Jehoash was seven years old when he became king.

In the above-mentioned verses, when the people saw that Joash was anointed as king and when Athaliah heard the noise of the escorts and the people, she came to the people in the temple of the Lord. When she looked, there was the king standing by a pillar according to custom; and the leaders and the trumpeters were by the king. All the people of the land were rejoicing and blowing trumpets. So Athaliah tore her clothes and cried out, “Treason! Treason!” And Jehoiada the priest commanded the captains of the hundreds, the officers of the army, and said to them, “Take her outside under guard, and slay with the sword whoever follows her.” For the priest had said, “Do not let her be killed in the house of the Lord.” So they seized her; and she went by way of the horses’ entrance into the king’s house, and there she was killed.

My dear people when we meditate upon the above-mentioned portions God is explaining and showing it as a pattern for us. That is, if our soul is being anointed by the Lord then it should be safeguarded by Christ, our priest and they will protected by the holy ones, who are the angels and the wicked harlot woman with jealousy will try to destroy the anointing that we have received. We must keep this in mind and should be careful. Also, the anointing that we have received means our Lord Jesus Christ will be seated as king on the throne and that place, which is our soul will be the City of Zion and that city will be quiet and those who have received this will be glad and rejoice and this is shown as a pattern. Not only that but the people and Christ will also make a covenant. Those who have taken a covenant in this manner, will destroy the temples of Baal from our soul and break the altars and idols and deeds of the priest will be destroyed by the sword, which is the word of the Lord. Athaliah, the wicked woman will be destroyed in our soul, which is the throne of Christ, near the palace of the king filled with righteousness and justice by the sword, which is the word of God. My dear people in Christ, in this manner if the wicked woman is destroyed from within us only holiness will be manifested and then only Zion will be established.  Then we will be established in Christ forever. And if he will also abide in us, then we will be as those who give good fruits according to him. In this manner, let us submit ourselves to destroy the wicked thoughts that arise in our soul.

Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
