“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”
Revelation 12: 12
Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell in them! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time.
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen
In us, the bride, the church the kingdom of God should be established forever, and we must leave all the deeds of Baal from us and a pattern regarding this.
My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that we, the bride, the church in our soul so that the unclean spirits do not continue to work and deceive us we should completely remove them from the roots.
Next what we are meditating upon is that 2 Kings 10: 12 – 17 And he arose and departed and went to Samaria. On the way, at Beth Eked of the Shepherds,
Jehu met with the brothers of Ahaziah king of Judah, and said, “Who are you?” So they answered, “We are the brothers of Ahaziah; we have come down to greet the sons of the king and the sons of the queen mother.”
And he said, “Take them alive!” So they took them alive and killed them at the well of Beth Eked, forty-two men; and he left none of them.
Now when he departed from there, he met Jehonadab the son of Rechab, coming to meet him; and he greeted him and said to him, “Is your heart right, as my heart is toward your heart?” And Jehonadab answered, “It is.” Jehu said, “If it is, give me your hand.” So he gave him his hand, and he took him up to him into the chariot.
Then he said, “Come with me, and see my zeal for the Lord.” So they had him ride in his chariot.
And when he came to Samaria, he killed all who remained to Ahab in Samaria, till he had destroyed them, according to the word of the Lord which He spoke to Elijah.
In the above-mentioned verses, after Jehu had killed all the people who belonged to Ahab he arose and departed and went to Samaria. On the way, at Beth Eked of the Shepherds, Jehu met with the brothers of Ahaziah king of Judah, and said, “Who are you?” So they answered, “We are the brothers of Ahaziah; we have come down to greet the sons of the king and the sons of the queen mother.” And he said, “Take them alive!” So they took them alive and killed them at the well of Beth Eked, forty-two men; and he left none of them.
My dear people, when we meditate upon the above-mentioned words of the Lord Jehu is with great zeal for the Lord. Also, whatever the Lord said through Elijah he did not allow one thing also to fall to the ground and we see that he is doing everything with zeal. Also, among those serving Baal he destroys everyone who is belonging to Ahab. Also at Beth Eked of the Shepherds, we see that he killed forty-two brothers of Ahaziah at the well of Beth Eked of the Shepherds. God is showing this as a pattern that when we do the work of the Lord, in the cleansing of the people it shows those who are giving teaching against the teaching of the Lord. They belong to Ahab and are those who worship foreign gods like Baal. Therefore, we must destroy them completely and they are being killed means that in our soul we must not give place for any foreign teachings and all the fleshly thoughts we must destroy with the Spirit of the Lord and destroy them completely and we must cleanse ourselves completely. Then the kingdom of God will stand forever in us. In this manner, let us submit ourselves.
Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
