“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”
2 Corinthians 3: 18
But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen
We, the bride, the church should be manifesting always in the glory of the Lord.
My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that we, the bride, the church in our inner man we should safeguard ourselves so that we are not stained by sin due to foreign teachings.
Next what we are meditating upon is that 2 Kings 9: 30 - 37 Now when Jehu had come to Jezreel, Jezebel heard of it; and she put paint on her eyes and adorned her head and looked through a window.
Then, as Jehu entered at the gate, she said, “Is it peace, Zimri, murderer of your master?”
And he looked up at the window, and said, “Who is on my side? Who?” So two or three eunuchs looked out at him.
Then he said, “Throw her down.” So they threw her down, and some of her blood spattered on the wall and on the horses; and he trampled her underfoot.
And when he had gone in, he ate and drank. Then he said, “Go now, see to this accursed woman, and bury her, for she was a king’s daughter.”
So they went to bury her, but they found no more of her than the skull and the feet and the palms of her hands.
Therefore they came back and told him. And he said, “This is the word of the Lord, which He spoke by His servant Elijah the Tishbite, saying, ‘On the plot of ground at Jezreel dogs shall eat the flesh of Jezebel;
and the corpse of Jezebel shall be as refuse on the surface of the field, in the plot at Jezreel, so that they shall not say, “Here lies Jezebel.”
In the above-mentioned verses, Jehu killed Jehoram, the king of Israel and Ahaziah, king of Judah by the sword and after that he came to Jezreel, Jezebel heard of it; and she put paint on her eyes and adorned her head and looked through a window. Then, as Jehu entered at the gate, she said, “Is it peace, Zimri, murderer of your master?” And he looked up at the window, and said, “Who is on my side? Who?” So two or three eunuchs looked out at him. Then he said, “Throw her down.” So they threw her down, and some of her blood spattered on the wall and on the horses; and he trampled her underfoot. And when he had gone in, he ate and drank. Then he said, “Go now, see to this accursed woman, and bury her, for she was a king’s daughter.” So they went to bury her, but they found no more of her than the skull and the feet and the palms of her hands. Therefore they came back and told him. And he said, “This is the word of the Lord, which He spoke by His servant Elijah the Tishbite, saying, ‘On the plot of ground at Jezreel dogs shall eat the flesh of Jezebel; and the corpse of Jezebel shall be as refuse on the surface of the field, in the plot at Jezreel, so that they shall not say, “Here lies Jezebel.”
My dear people, Jezebel is the wife of Ahab. They both were cunning people. That is, to make our good vineyard, where the glory of the Lord is manifested into a vegetable garden in our soul many evil deeds arise against the true teaching of the Lord and deceives our soul and keeps it and she kills our soul. Therefore, the Lord decides to destroy her, and the Lord Jesus Christ is being anointed as the king in each one of our souls. After that, Christ is judging her. The Lord is pushing her down from within us. Then she is being trampled under the foot by the Lord and her every part of her body is being broken into pieces. Her blood splattered on the horses, and this means in our soul this is because she is seated in our soul and from there, she is doing deeds against our Lord. That is, she is making us do many deeds of the harlot, which are the worldly enjoyments and decorations. But if we will repent and draw near to the Lord, then the Lord will fight with that wicked spirit and overcome it and remove all the deeds that she did from us and cleanses us and delivers and saves us from the enjoyments of this world so that the wicked spirit will not overcome us he safeguards us completely and is manifesting as the powerful one to save us. In this manner, in our soul the vineyard of the Lord will manifest without any decrease in the glory of Christ. Also, what we must know what we must realize, and we must learn from the Lord how to live. If there are deeds of the idols, which are the altar of Baal in our soul then Ahab will be its king and the wide, bride Jezebel will be working. If we will give place in this manner instead of the glory of the Lord manifesting the deeds of the devil will be increasing in the soul. Therefore, we must be careful in our teaching so that the Lord will increase glory upon glory and to be manifested forever within us let us submit ourselves to the true word of God.
Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
