“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”
Psalms 75: 10
“All the horns of the wicked I will also cut off, but the horns of the righteous shall be exalted.”
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen
We, the bride, the church in our inner man we should safeguard ourselves so that we are not stained by sin due to foreign teachings.
My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that we, the bride, the church with the anointing that we received from the Lord we must be with complete zeal for the Lord.
Next what we are meditating upon is that 2 Kings 9: 22 – 28 Now it happened, when Jehoram saw Jehu, that he said, “Is it peace, Jehu?” So he answered, “What peace, as long as the harlotries of your mother Jezebel and her witchcraft are so many?”
Then Jehoram turned around and fled, and said to Ahaziah, “Treachery, Ahaziah!”
Now Jehu drew his bow with full strength and shot Jehoram between his arms; and the arrow came out at his heart, and he sank down in his chariot.
Then Jehu said to Bidkar his captain, “Pick him up, and throw him into the tract of the field of Naboth the Jezreelite; for remember, when you and I were riding together behind Ahab his father, that the Lord laid this burden upon him:
‘Surely I saw yesterday the blood of Naboth and the blood of his sons,’ says the Lord, ‘and I will repay you in this plot,’ says the Lord. Now therefore, take and throw him on the plot of ground, according to the word of the Lord.”
But when Ahaziah king of Judah saw this, he fled by the road to Beth Haggan. So Jehu pursued him, and said, “Shoot him also in the chariot.” And they shot him at the Ascent of Gur, which is by Ibleam. Then he fled to Megiddo and died there.
And his servants carried him in the chariot to Jerusalem and buried him in his tomb with his fathers in the City of David.
In the above-mentioned verses, Jehoram king of Israel and Ahaziah king of Judah went out to meet Jehu, then when Jehoram saw Jehu, that he said, “Is it peace, Jehu?” So he answered, “What peace, as long as the harlotries of your mother Jezebel and her witchcraft are so many?” Then Jehoram turned around and fled, and said to Ahaziah, “Treachery, Ahaziah!” Now Jehu drew his bow with full strength and shot Jehoram between his arms; and the arrow came out at his heart, and he sank down in his chariot. Then Jehu said to Bidkar his captain, “Pick him up, and throw him into the tract of the field of Naboth the Jezreelite; for remember, when you and I were riding together behind Ahab his father, that the Lord laid this burden upon him: ‘Surely I saw yesterday the blood of Naboth and the blood of his sons,’ says the Lord, ‘and I will repay you in this plot,’ says the Lord. Now therefore, take and throw him on the plot of ground, according to the word of the Lord.” But when Ahaziah king of Judah saw this, he fled by the road to Beth Haggan.
My dear people, Jehu who was anointed by the Lord obeyed the voice of the Lord and with great zeal we see that he is destroying Jehoram by the sword. Jehoram comes to Jehu and even after he asks is it peace, he obeys the voice of the Lord rather than the voice of man and is filled with zeal for the Lord. Also, regarding him what is being said is that if he is being the horse of his father, this punishment is being put upon him by the Lord. Therefore, my dear people if our forefather’s wicked deeds are present then we must never stand along with them, and their worldly honour should not come within us and in this manner in the relationship with them along with the punishment that is given to them the Lord will give us also that punishment and there is no change in this. Also, the Lord is showing this as a pattern means in our soul, the land the reason for blood occurring, that is the spirit of evil teaching the Lord decides to destroy it completely. Also, whoever is standing in support of evil teaching whomever they may be even if they are Jews (those who have received anointing) their soul is being killed by the Lord.
Therefore, my dear people we must be very careful so that our soul is not stained by evil teaching. In this manner, like Jehu we must receive the anointing of the Lord so that foreign spirits do not arise within us, and we must submit ourselves completely to the Lord.
Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
