“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”

Isaiah 62: 1

For Zion’s sake I will not hold My peace, and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest, until her righteousness goes forth as brightness, and her salvation as a lamp that burns.

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen

We, the bride, the church should receive the Holy anointing from him to do the work of the Lord.

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that our lamp, the bride, the church (Christ) should be safeguarded so that it does not stop burning.

Next what we are meditating upon is that 2 Kings 9: 1 - 5 And Elisha the prophet called one of the sons of the prophets, and said to him, “Get yourself ready, take this flask of oil in your hand, and go to Ramoth Gilead.

Now when you arrive at that place, look there for Jehu the son of Jehoshaphat, the son of Nimshi, and go in and make him rise up from among his associates, and take him to an inner room.

Then take the flask of oil, and pour it on his head, and say, ‘Thus says the Lord: “I have anointed you king over Israel.”’ Then open the door and flee, and do not delay.”

So the young man, the servant of the prophet, went to Ramoth Gilead.

And when he arrived, there were the captains of the army sitting; and he said, “I have a message for you, Commander.” Jehu said, “For which one of us?” And he said, “For you, Commander.”

In the above-mentioned verses, Elisha the prophet called one of the sons of the prophets, and said to him, “Get yourself ready, take this flask of oil in your hand, and go to Ramoth Gilead. Now when you arrive at that place, look there for Jehu the son of Jehoshaphat, the son of Nimshi, and go in and make him rise up from among his associates, and take him to an inner room. Then take the flask of oil, and pour it on his head, and say, ‘Thus says the Lord: “I have anointed you king over Israel.”’ Then open the door and flee, and do not delay.” So the young man, the servant of the prophet, went to Ramoth Gilead. And when he arrived, there were the captains of the army sitting; and he said, “I have a message for you, Commander.” Jehu said, “For which one of us?” And he said, “For you, Commander.” Then he arose and went into the house. In 2 Kings 9: 6 – 10 Then he arose and went into the house. And he poured the oil on his head, and said to him, “Thus says the Lord God of Israel: ‘I have anointed you king over the people of the Lord, over Israel.

You shall strike down the house of Ahab your master, that I may avenge the blood of My servants the prophets, and the blood of all the servants of the Lord, at the hand of Jezebel.

For the whole house of Ahab shall perish; and I will cut off from Ahab all the males in Israel, both bond and free.

So I will make the house of Ahab like the house of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, and like the house of Baasha the son of Ahijah.

The dogs shall eat Jezebel on the plot of ground at Jezreel, and there shall be none to bury her.’” And he opened the door and fled.

In the above-mentioned verses, the fact is the Lord is sending the servant, the prophet by Elisha, the man of God to Jehu to destroy the household of Ahab and anoint Jehu.

My dear people, the fact regarding the above-mentioned verses is that we can understand that the Lord will not sit still till he fulfils his word. Also, if the Lord is anointing us then within us Christ is being anointed. That is, the Lord to destroy the altars of Ahab, Jezebel and Baal which are within us and to remove their power completely away from us and to remove us completely from the worldly pleasures, life of enjoyments and for us to fulfil the will of the Lord in our inner man he commands the anointing. Therefore, my dear people in Christ if we have received the anointing of the Lord then we should fulfil the will that he has kept upon us and for him we must do the work of the Lord with zeal. Also, every day only if we keep making ourselves holy then only the Lord will give us the Holy anointing. Let us submit ourselves to be careful in the work that we are doing for the Lord.

Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
