“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”

Isaiah 45: 2 - 4 ‘I will go before you And  make the crooked places straight; I will break in pieces the gates of bronze And cut the bars of iron.

I will give you the treasures of darkness And hidden riches of secret places, That you may know that I, the Lord, Who call you by your name, Am the God of Israel.

For Jacob My servant’s sake, And Israel My elect, I have even called you by your name; I have named you, though you have not known Me.

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen

Hallelujah

God who upholds Israel - as a pattern

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days we see that because God does not want our soul to perish and to protect us with life God has a will in our lives and in order to save and protect us, who are Jacob's children, he shows through the father's of the twelve tribes of Israel the life in Egypt and even in the famine where the word of God is not available in order to feed us he took Joseph to Egypt. We see that in order to protect Jacob and his generation and to give us a redemption he is showing us a pattern through our forefathers.

And we see that he is possessing the inheritance of the Gentiles for us.

Psalms 2: 7 - 9 “I will declare the decree: The Lord has said to Me,‘You are My Son, Today I have begotten You.

Ask of Me, and I will give You The nations for Your inheritance, And the ends of the earth for Your possession.

You shall break them with a rod of iron; You shall dash them to pieces like a potter’s vessel.’ ”

My dear brothers and sisters, this portion of the Psalms is a Psalms regarding our Lord Jesus Christ. Our God chases the Gentiles and in order to possess the land he has anointed and kept Our Lord Jesus Christ and written these concepts in this portion of the Psalms. We see that in order to fulfill the promise that God gave Abraham he sent the generation of Jacob to Egypt.

Also he is lifting Joseph up in the palace of the king of Egypt and showing us. God predestined to destroy the deeds of Egypt through his servant and spoke to Abraham and we see that he takes the sons of Jacob there. The reason for this is that we are all born as the generation of Jacob in this world. But God is redeeming us from Jacob.

Isaiah 44: 21 “Remember these, O Jacob, And Israel, for you are My servant; I have formed you, you are My servant; O Israel, you will not be forgotten by Me!

Isaiah 44: 23 Sing, O heavens, for the Lord has done it! Shout, you lower parts of the earth; Break forth into singing, you mountains, O forest, and every tree in it! For the Lord has redeemed Jacob, And glorified Himself in Israel.

We see that God tells Jacob Your name shall no longer be Jacob but Israel. If God has to call us Israel like that we can see in the previous days the explanation for it was written.

Then Joseph told his brothers Genesis 45: 8 - 10 So now it was not you who sent me here, but God; and He has made me a father to Pharaoh, and lord of all his house, and a ruler throughout all the land of Egypt.

“Hurry and go up to my father, and say to him, ‘Thus says your son Joseph: “God has made me lord of all Egypt; come down to me, do not tarry.

You shall dwell in the land of Goshen, and you shall be near to me, you and your children, your children’s children, your flocks and your herds, and all that you have.

He tells his brothers to tell his father in this manner that There I will provide for you, lest you and your household, and all that you have, come to poverty; for there are still five years of famine.” ’ He tells them to tell him that his son Joseph said this. And he says that “And behold, your eyes and the eyes of my brother Benjamin see that it is my mouth that speaks to you and tells them to hurry and bring my father down here.”  So you shall tell my father of all my glory in Egypt, and of all that you have seen; Then he fell on his brother Benjamin’s neck and wept, and Benjamin wept on his neck.

Moreover he kissed all his brothers and wept over them, and after that his brothers talked with him.

Now the report of it was heard in Pharaoh’s house, saying, “Joseph’s brothers have come.” So it pleased Pharaoh and his servants well.

And Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Say to your brothers, ‘Do this: Load your animals and depart; go to the land of Canaan.

Genesis 45: 18 Bring your father and your households and come to me; I will give you the best of the land of Egypt, and you will eat the fat of the land.

Then the sons of Israel did so; and Joseph gave them carts, according to the command of Pharaoh, and he gave them provisions for the journey.

He gave to all of them, to each man, changes of garments; but to Benjamin he gave three hundred pieces of silver and five changes of garments.

In this manner, Joseph sent his father the good things of Egypt and  grain, bread, and food as much as they need for his father for the journey.

So he sent his brothers away, and they departed; and he said to them, “See that you do not become troubled along the way.”

Then they went up out of Egypt, and came to the land of Canaan to Jacob their father. And they told him, saying, “Joseph is still alive, and he is governor over all the land of Egypt.” And Jacob’s heart stood still, because he did not believe them.

But when they told him all the words which Joseph had said to them, and when he saw the carts which Joseph had sent to carry him, the spirit of Jacob their father revived.

Genesis 45: 28 Then Israel said, “It is enough. Joseph my son is still alive. I will go and see him before I die.”

The reason why God showed such things is that God is bringing Jacob to Egypt, to eat the best of the land of Egypt, and the fat of the land. This was God's doing because God gives the blessings of the Gentiles to the people who are blessed by God to eat. In order to show this as a pattern, God is showing us the redemption of Jacob.  God tells Abraham Genesis 15: 13, 14 Then He said to Abram: “Know certainly that your descendants will be strangers in a land that is not theirs, and will serve them, and they will afflict them four hundred years.

And also the nation whom they serve I will judge; afterward they shall come out with great possessions.

Therefore, in order to fulfill the things that God told Abraham he took the generation of Jacob to Egypt and made Joseph stand in front, made him get mercy from Pharaoh and in order to judge the Gentiles in that land and for the Hebrews to eat the good things of Egypt and in order to destroy Egypt God predestined it and we see that he is doing all the things mentioned above. Then it is written that the Israelites will come out with great possessions.

The reason for doing such things is that every man that God has created, he delivers from the bondage of Egypt and saves his soul and destroys the deeds of Egypt from within every soul so that the soul is submitted to God and to change it into the land of Canaan where milk and honey flows God predestines it and shows Joseph as a pattern. Through his only begotten Son (Christ) in order to redeeem us from sin and take us, God is making us clear through these things. My dear people of God, who are reading this, we must analyze and know ourselves everyday and we must all come forward to protect our soul.

Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all.
