“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”

Acts 1: 8  But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen

Hallelujah

When we receive the Kingdom of God our sins and iniquity will be found - as a pattern

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon yesterday we meditated about the kingdom of God. If we see where the kingdom of God is, it manifests in our soul only. That kingdom of God, because by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God man shall live. In John 1: 14  And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. In this manner when we speak God's words, when we meditate on it and accept it, if we will open the door of our heart Christ will be manifested in us. Those who have accepted the word of God will receive that glorious light. That is what John says That was the true Light which gives light to every man coming into the world. That is only Christ.

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, if we all will receive this light darkness (Devil) will not comprehend it. John 1: 5 And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it. If our soul will be blessed in this manner, Satan will go away from our heart. We will walk in the path of light.

As it was God's will to walk in such a path, we are able to read that God first took Joseph to Egypt, to give the blessings of Egypt to the Hebrews, he sent the Hebrews, our forefathers, the remaining eleven brothers to Egypt, in order for them to realize some deep things, like the way that God led them through Joseph and how Joseph ate and drank with them and before eating and drinking how the steward of Joseph's house gave them water to wash their feet. If we want the kingdom of God to be manifested in us in our life we must be clean, humble, obedient and truthful in all these things.

After that, we see the silver cup is found in the sack of the youngest brother.

Also he is given five times more portion food compared to the others. The reason for this is that for the kingdom of God to come in our soul God is showing this as a pattern and an example. Till that time Joseph did not reveal himself to his brothers.

But not only did he give Benjamin five times more food and he keeps the cup, the silver cup and sends it because Luke 12: 47 - 48 And that servant who knew his master’s will, and did not prepare himself or do according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes.

But he who did not know, yet committed things deserving of stripes, shall be beaten with few. For everyone to whom much is given, from him much will be required; and to whom much has been committed, of him they will ask the more.

Whoever among us waits for the kingdom of God to come and receives it, we have to be very careful and watchful in harvesting the souls with a lot of excitement. Firstly we must cleanse our soul and then we must come forward to harvest the other souls. We must not be careless in all of these.

Then the steward told the eleven brothers regarding the cup, the silver cup as Joseph told him and they said few things to the steward and he agreed for it and when they opened the sacks, we are able to read that they found it in the sack of the youngest one.

The reason why God made him put it in the sack of the youngest one is to whom much is given, from him much will be required. God is showing as a pattern that the kingdom of God will come within us only. In Deuteronomy 33: 12  Of Benjamin he said: “The beloved of the Lord shall dwell in safety by Him, Who shelters him all the day long; And he shall dwell between His shoulders.” We are able to read in the Old Testament that the land was divided and given to each one of them. As a pattern in the New Testament, we must know that everything is in our body, soul and spirit.

When they saw the silver cup in the sack they tore their clothes, and each man loaded his donkey and returned to the city.

Genesis 44: 14, 15 So Judah and his brothers came to Joseph’s house, and he was still there; and they fell before him on the ground. And Joseph said to them, “What deed is this you have done? Did you not know that such a man as I can certainly practice divination?”

Then Judah said,  how shall we clear ourselves? to Joseph and we see that he says  God has found out the iniquity of your servants;

Why these words are being said is that - if we want our righteousness to be manifested before God, first God has to find the iniquity that we have done in us and then if we confess our sin, transgression and iniquity in God's presence and submit ourselves, through the blood that he shed by suffering for us, if we believe that he has carried that sin, transgression and iniquity God will show his mercy to us and reveal himself to us. We see that all these things are shown to us by God through the twelve children of Jacob.

Then Joseph and his brother Judah speak regarding some things and Judah says the things that Jacob said to Joseph and Judah tries to somehow take Benjamin back to his father. Genesis 45: 1 Then Joseph could not restrain himself before all those who stood by him, and he cried out, “Make everyone go out from me!” So no one stood with him while Joseph made himself known to his brothers.

Then he asked if his father Jacob is still alive and he said to his brothers, “Please come near to me.” Then he said: “I am Joseph your brother, whom you sold to the people going into Egypt and he revealed himself.

Genesis 45: 5 But now, do not therefore be grieved or angry with yourselves because you sold me here; for God sent me before you to preserve life.

Genesis 45: 6, 7 For these two years the famine has been in the land, and there are still five years in which there will be neither plowing nor harvesting.

And God sent me before you to preserve a posterity for you in the earth, and to save your lives by a great deliverance.

In this manner, to save us through Our Lord Jesus Christ, God shows Joseph as a pattern and sends him to Egypt.

Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all.
