“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”
Romans 8: 11
But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen
We, the bride, the church should always receive life and live.
My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that in us, the bride, the church the Lord is wearing the mantle of righteousness and covered with zealousness.
Next what we are meditating upon is that 2 Kings 2: 19 – 25 Then the men of the city said to Elisha, “Please notice, the situation of this city is pleasant, as my lord sees; but the water is bad, and the ground barren.”
And he said, “Bring me a new bowl, and put salt in it.” So they brought it to him.
Then he went out to the source of the water, and cast in the salt there, and said, “Thus says the Lord: ‘I have healed this water; from it there shall be no more death or barrenness.’”
So the water remains healed to this day, according to the word of Elisha which he spoke.
Then he went up from there to Bethel; and as he was going up the road, some youths came from the city and mocked him, and said to him, “Go up, you baldhead! Go up, you baldhead!”
So he turned around and looked at them, and pronounced a curse on them in the name of the Lord. And two female bears came out of the woods and mauled forty-two of the youths.
Then he went from there to Mount Carmel, and from there he returned to Samaria.
According to the above-mentioned verses, when Elisha went to the city of Jericho the men of the city said to Elisha, “Please notice, the situation of this city is pleasant, as my lord sees; but the water is bad, and the ground barren.” And he said, “Bring me a new bowl, and put salt in it.” So they brought it to him. Then he went out to the source of the water, and cast in the salt there, and said, “Thus says the Lord: ‘I have healed this water; from it there shall be no more death or barrenness.’” So the water remains healed to this day, according to the word of Elisha which he spoke. Then he went up from there to Bethel; and as he was going up the road, some youths came from the city and mocked him, and said to him, “Go up, you baldhead! Go up, you baldhead!” So he turned around and looked at them and pronounced a curse on them in the name of the Lord. And two female bears came out of the woods and mauled forty-two of the youths. Then he went from there to Mount Carmel, and from there he returned to Samaria.
My dear people, the living water who is Christ is glorified with us. Also, within our soul if the eternal life is bad and if without spiritual growth we will be as a barren land then God is comparing it to Jericho, the city of curse. In the soul of people who are in this manner when the word of God, which is the salt is sprinkled then we will be cleansed from our sins and be made holy and with life in our soul God will remove our death and he will be glorified in us and will safeguard our soul so that it does not die, and he is showing this as a pattern in the above portion. To do all these good deeds in each one of our souls Christ is coming as a prophet and to manifest this only Elisha is being anointed. The one who is anointed in this manner when the Lord has saved if we will mock him, then the Lord itself will become our enemy and he will tear us (our soul). Therefore my dear people, we must never be a barren land so that our soul dies but we must be as a soul with healing and as a soul which is a spring of living water and if we will safeguard ourselves our body which is unto death with regain life and we will receive eternal life. In this manner let us submit ourselves to the Lord for our body filled with curse to receive life through Christ.
Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
