“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”

1 Thessalonians 4: 16, 17

For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first.

Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen

If we, the bride, the church always lives with Christ, then he will take us to heaven.

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that we the bride, the church whatever difficult situation may come for us we should not do mistakes which are against the anointing of the Lord which we have received, and we should safeguard our souls from dying.

Next what we are meditating upon is that 2 Kings 2: 1 – 3 And it came to pass, when the Lord was about to take up Elijah into heaven by a whirlwind, that Elijah went with Elisha from Gilgal.

Then Elijah said to Elisha, “Stay here, please, for the Lord has sent me on to Bethel.” But Elisha said, “As the Lord lives, and as your soul lives, I will not leave you!” So they went down to Bethel.

Now the sons of the prophets who were at Bethel came out to Elisha, and said to him, “Do you know that the Lord will take away your master from over you today?” And he said, “Yes, I know; keep silent!”

In the above-mentioned verses, when the Lord was about to take up Elijah into heaven by a whirlwind, that Elijah went with Elisha from Gilgal. Then Elijah said to Elisha, “Stay here, please, for the Lord has sent me on to Bethel.” But Elisha said, “As the Lord lives, and as your soul lives, I will not leave you!” So they went down to Bethel. Now the sons of the prophets who were at Bethel came out to Elisha, and said to him, “Do you know that the Lord will take away your master from over you today?” And he said, “Yes, I know; keep silent!” Then Elijah said in 2 Kings 2: 4 Then Elijah said to him, “Elisha, stay here, please, for the Lord has sent me on to Jericho.” But he said, “As the Lord lives, and as your soul lives, I will not leave you!” So they came to Jericho. Now the sons of the prophets who were at Jericho said in 2 Kings 2: 5 Now the sons of the prophets who were at Jericho came to Elisha and said to him, “Do you know that the Lord will take away your master from over you today?” So he answered, “Yes, I know; keep silent!” Then Elijah said to Elisha in 2 Kings 2: 6 Then Elijah said to him, “Stay here, please, for the Lord has sent me on to the Jordan.” But he said, “As the Lord lives, and as your soul lives, I will not leave you!” So the two of them went on.

According to the above-mentioned words, both of them went to Jordan. And fifty men of the sons of the prophets went and stood facing them at a distance, while the two of them stood by the Jordan. Then Elijah in 2 Kings 2: 8 – 10 Now Elijah took his mantle, rolled it up, and struck the water; and it was divided this way and that, so that the two of them crossed over on dry ground.

And so it was, when they had crossed over, that Elijah said to Elisha, “Ask! What may I do for you, before I am taken away from you?” Elisha said, “Please let a double portion of your spirit be upon me.”

So he said, “You have asked a hard thing. Nevertheless, if you see me when I am taken from you, it shall be so for you; but if not, it shall not be so.”

According to what is mentioned above, as they continued on and talked, that suddenly a chariot of fire appeared with horses of fire and separated the two of them; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven. And Elisha saw it, and he cried out, “My father, my father, the chariot of Israel and its horsemen!” So he saw him no more. And he took hold of his own clothes and tore them into two pieces. He also took up the mantle of Elijah that had fallen from him.

My dear people, when we meditate upon the above-mentioned words of God our Lord Jesus Christ will resurrect and will be taken up to heaven and this the Lord is using Elijah and showing us as a pattern. Our Christ is climbing on the highest mountain and praying and this shows that he is the highest in holiness, the Most High God and is the Most honourable one. In this manner, we see that Elijah was also on the highest mountain. Also, we must also grow in holiness. Not only that but when the Lord was leading and bringing Israel, the church from Egypt, the Rock Christ was always with them. In this manner, to overcome the tribulations that arise in our soul, the bride, the church like Jericho, Jordan we must never leave our Jesus Christ and should always follow him. In this manner if we will be as those who see him always then for us, he will overcome the tribulations and will gather us along with him in heaven. In this manner, let us submit ourselves to possess the blessings.

Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
