“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”

Psalms 6: 4

Return, O Lord, deliver me! Oh, save me for Your mercies’ sake!

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen

We, the bride, the church should completely destroy the evil teaching that is staying and working in our soul.

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that our soul, the bride, the church should not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, and we must safeguard ourselves.

Next what we are meditating upon is that 1 Kings 20: 11 – 15 So the king of Israel answered and said, “Tell him, ‘Let not the one who puts on his armour boast like the one who takes it off.’”

And it happened when Ben-Hadad heard this message, as he and the kings were drinking at the command post, that he said to his servants, “Get ready.” And they got ready to attack the city.

Suddenly a prophet approached Ahab king of Israel, saying, “Thus says the Lord: ‘Have you seen all this great multitude? Behold, I will deliver it into your hand today, and you shall know that I am the Lord.’”

So Ahab said, “By whom?” And he said, “Thus says the Lord: ‘By the young leaders of the provinces.’” Then he said, “Who will set the battle in order?” And he answered, “You.”

Then he mustered the young leaders of the provinces, and there were two hundred and thirty-two; and after them he mustered all the people, all the children of Israel—seven thousand.

In the above-mentioned verses, when Ahab, the king of Israel said the words that he told and send to the king of Syria Ben-Hadad and the kings were drinking (Drinking means the evil teaching which is against the truth) at the command post. When he heard these words he said to his servants, “Get ready.” And they got ready to attack the city. Suddenly a prophet approached Ahab king of Israel, saying, “Thus says the Lord: ‘Have you seen all this great multitude? Behold, I will deliver it into your hand today, and you shall know that I am the Lord.’” So Ahab said, “By whom?” And he said, “Thus says the Lord: ‘By the young leaders of the provinces.’” Then he said, “Who will set the battle in order?” And he answered, “You.” Then he mustered the young leaders of the provinces, and there were two hundred and thirty-two; and after them he mustered all the people, all the children of Israel—seven thousand. Also in 1 Kings 20: 16 – 21 So they went out at noon. Meanwhile Ben-Hadad and the thirty-two kings helping him were getting drunk at the command post.

The young leaders of the provinces went out first. And Ben-Hadad sent out a patrol, and they told him, saying, “Men are coming out of Samaria!”

So he said, “If they have come out for peace, take them alive; and if they have come out for war, take them alive.”

Then these young leaders of the provinces went out of the city with the army which followed them.

And each one killed his man; so the Syrians fled, and Israel pursued them; and Ben-Hadad the king of Syria escaped on a horse with the cavalry.

Then the king of Israel went out and attacked the horses and chariots and killed the Syrians with a great slaughter.

In the above-mentioned verses, when the young leaders of the provinces went out at noon Ben-Hadad and the thirty-two kings helping him were getting drunk at the command post. The young leaders of the provinces went out first. And Ben-Hadad sent out a patrol, and they told him, saying, “Men are coming out of Samaria!” So he said, “If they have come out for peace, take them alive; and if they have come out for war, take them alive.” Then these young leaders of the provinces went out of the city with the army which followed them. And each one killed his man; so the Syrians fled, and Israel pursued them; and Ben-Hadad the king of Syria escaped on a horse with the cavalry.  Then the king of Israel went out and attacked the horses and chariots and killed the Syrians with a great slaughter.

My dear people, when we meditate upon what is mentioned above our Lord for the Israelites to possess their soul he tells us to walk according to the truth and he teaches us to walk in his paths and he is the one who helps us. Within Israel, the God who sees the deeds of Baal first to destroy the armies of Syrians he is performing his deeds. Also, this thing is happening for Ahab to repent. Also, he is leading us also in this manner. He chooses us and our God tests us everyday to see how our good deeds are. In all our souls the Lord destroys the deeds of the Syrians and to save us he is powerful. Therefore, we must change all the evil thoughts in our soul and walk according to the true word of God and to live in holiness for the Lord to cleanse us everyday let us submit ourselves.

Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
