“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”

Psalms 118: 25

Save now, I pray, O Lord; O Lord, I pray, send now prosperity.

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen

We, the bride, the church should not become weary but do good deeds and put on the strength of the Lord and in the journey of faith let us attain the holy mountain.

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that in our soul, the bride, the church Christ arises as the king and chases away from us the kingdom of Ahab.

Next what we are meditating upon is that 1 Kings 19: 1 – 8 And Ahab told Jezebel all that Elijah had done, also how he had executed all the prophets with the sword.

Then Jezebel sent a messenger to Elijah, saying, “So let the gods do to me, and more also, if I do not make your life as the life of one of them by tomorrow about this time.”

And when he saw that, he arose and ran for his life, and went to Beersheba, which belongs to Judah, and left his servant there.

But he himself went a day’s journey into the wilderness, and came and sat down under a broom tree. And he prayed that he might die, and said, “It is enough! Now, Lord, take my life, for I am no better than my fathers!”

Then as he lay and slept under a broom tree, suddenly an angel touched him, and said to him, “Arise and eat.”

Then he looked, and there by his head was a cake baked on coals, and a jar of water. So he ate and drank and lay down again.

And the angel of the Lord came back the second time, and touched him, and said, “Arise and eat, because the journey is too great for you.”

So he arose and ate and drank; and he went in the strength of that food forty days and forty nights as far as Horeb, the mountain of God.

In the above-mentioned words of God, Ahab told Jezebel all that Elijah had done, also how he had executed all the prophets with the sword. Then Jezebel sent a messenger to Elijah, saying, “So let the gods do to me, and more also, if I do not make your life as the life of one of them by tomorrow about this time.” And when he saw that, he arose and ran for his life, and went to Beersheba, which belongs to Judah, and left his servant there. But he himself went a day’s journey into the wilderness and came and sat down under a broom tree. And he prayed that he might die, and said, “It is enough! Now, Lord, take my life, for I am no better than my fathers!” Then as he lay and slept under a broom tree, suddenly an angel touched him, and said to him, “Arise and eat.” Then he looked, and there by his head was a cake baked on coals, and a jar of water. So he ate and drank and lay down again. And the angel of the Lord came back the second time, and touched him, and said, “Arise and eat, because the journey is too great for you.” So he arose and ate and drank; and he went in the strength of that food forty days and forty nights as far as Horeb, the mountain of God.

My dear people, the explanation regarding these things which the Lord is showing us as a pattern using the prophet Elijah is that Elijah killed the prophets of Baal with the sword, but their king Ahab and Jezebel were not destroyed so he is becoming weary due to their threatening. Those who become weary in this manner say that they want to die to the Lord and tell take away my soul and he lay and slept under the broom tree. The reason for that is that within him in his soul, the life of Christ has not been resurrected he is becoming weary. Those who have a weary life in this manner the broom tree becomes his shadow. But we must hide and live in the shadow of the grace of Christ. In this manner, if we want to be in the shadow of grace we also in our life should change the things which should be changed and destroy the things which should be destroyed then the enemy will not follow us with his entitlement. In this manner if the shadow of the grace of Christ is not there for us then there is no place for us to stand and we think this, become weary and finish our faith and we think in this manner. In this manner many people who have devout fear are spoiling their life. Therefore just how the Lord sent the angel and gave Elijah there by his head a cake baked on coals, and water in the same way the Lord has given us his firstborn and from him he has given us the bride also. If we will receive such kind of blessings then the Lord will remove our weariness and in the journey of faith, he will make us gain strength and we can reach Christ, the holy mountain. In this manner we must not be weary but must put on the strength of God and do the journey of faith and to reach the place that we have to reach which is the holy mountain let us submit ourselves.

Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
