John 12: 47

And if anyone hears My words and does not believe, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world but to save the world.

In our soul, the bride, the church the Saviour of the world the resurrected Christ is revealed.

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that we, the bride, the church should be as those who worship the resurrected Christ.

Next what we are meditating upon is that 1 Kings 18: 6 – 21 So they divided the land between them to explore it; Ahab went one way by himself, and Obadiah went another way by himself.

Now as Obadiah was on his way, suddenly Elijah met him; and he recognized him, and fell on his face, and said, “Is that you, my lord Elijah?”

And he answered him, “It is I. Go, tell your master, ‘Elijah is here.’”

So he said, “How have I sinned, that you are delivering your servant into the hand of Ahab, to kill me? 

As the Lord your God lives, there is no nation or kingdom where my master has not sent someone to hunt for you; and when they said, ‘He is not here,’ he took an oath from the kingdom or nation that they could not find you. 

And now you say, ‘Go, tell your master, “Elijah is here”’! 

And it shall come to pass, as soon as I am gone from you, that the Spirit of the Lord will carry you to a place I do not know; so when I go and tell Ahab, and he cannot find you, he will kill me. But I your servant have feared the Lord from my youth. 

Was it not reported to my lord what I did when Jezebel killed the prophets of the Lord, how I hid one hundred men of the Lord’s prophets, fifty to a cave, and fed them with bread and water? 

And now you say, ‘Go, tell your master, “Elijah is here.”’ He will kill me!”

Then Elijah said, “As the Lord of hosts lives, before whom I stand, I will surely present myself to him today.”

So Obadiah went to meet Ahab and told him; and Ahab went to meet Elijah.

Then it happened, when Ahab saw Elijah, that Ahab said to him, “Is that you, O troubler of Israel?”

And he answered, “I have not troubled Israel, but you and your father’s house have, in that you have forsaken the commandments of the Lord and have followed the Baals. 

Now therefore, send and gather all Israel to me on Mount Carmel, the four hundred and fifty prophets of Baal, and the four hundred prophets of Asherah, who eat at Jezebel’s table.”

So Ahab sent for all the children of Israel and gathered the prophets together on Mount Carmel. 

And Elijah came to all the people, and said, “How long will you falter between two opinions? If the Lord is God, follow Him; but if Baal, follow him.” But the people answered him not a word.

In the above-mentioned verses, Elijah is telling Obadiah that I will surely present myself to Ahab today as the Lord of hosts lives and after that Obadiah went to Ahab and informed him what Elijah told to tell him. Then Ahab went to meet Elijah. When Ahab saw Elijah, he said to him, “Is that you, O troubler of Israel?” And Elijah answered, “I have not troubled Israel, but you and your father’s house have, in that you have forsaken the commandments of the Lord and have followed the Baals. Then Elijah said in 1 Kings 18: 19 Now therefore, send and gather all Israel to me on Mount Carmel, the four hundred and fifty prophets of Baal, and the four hundred prophets of Asherah, who eat at Jezebel’s table.

Ahab who heard the above-mentioned words sent for all the children of Israel and gathered the prophets together on Mount Carmel. And Elijah came to all the people, and said in 1 Kings 18: 21 And Elijah came to all the people, and said, “How long will you falter between two opinions? If the Lord is God, follow Him; but if Baal, follow him.” But the people answered him not a word.

The people who heard the above-mentioned words did not answer him a word.

My dear people, when we meditate upon the above-mentioned verses what we can understand is that the Israelites are only serving Baal. And they are serving the Lord also. That is why when Elijah came to all the people and said how long will you falter between two opinions? If the Lord is God, follow Him; but if Baal, follow him. But the people did not answer anything. From this what we understand is that the people did not know God properly. In this manner now the souls of many people are still the altar of Baal only and their bride, the church is filled with the deeds of Jezebel and is under the reign of Ahab and they do not know this. Jezebel is killing the prophets of God, and this means that she is not allowing us to follow the prophetic words of the Lord which are his laws, commandments and is destroying the soul. That is, she makes us do many kinds of worldly enjoyments and to despise the words of the Lord she performs deeds, and she is a harlot spirit. The souls who are in this manner are filled with idols and it becomes a high place of the idols. To destroy this in our soul only our Lord Jesus Christ resurrects and rules within us and reigns us and destroys the palace of Ahab, which are the high places of idols and Christ comes as the saviour of the world and manifests within us. Such people the Lord prepares them to be with him for the eternal kingdom. In this manner in each one of our lives for him to be revealed as the Saviour of the world let us submit ourselves.
