“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”

Psalms 116: 13

I will take up the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the Lord.

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen

We, the bride, the church should be as those who worship the resurrected Christ.

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that our soul, the bride, the church is being made complete by the fullness of grace by the Lord.

Next what we are meditating upon is that 1 Kings 18: 1 – 5 And it came to pass after many days that the word of the Lord came to Elijah, in the third year, saying, “Go, present yourself to Ahab, and I will send rain on the earth.”

So Elijah went to present himself to Ahab; and there was a severe famine in Samaria.

And Ahab had called Obadiah, who was in charge of his house. (Now Obadiah feared the Lord greatly.

For so it was, while Jezebel massacred the prophets of the Lord, that Obadiah had taken one hundred prophets and hidden them, fifty to a cave, and had fed them with bread and water.)

And Ahab had said to Obadiah, “Go into the land to all the springs of water and to all the brooks; perhaps we may find grass to keep the horses and mules alive, so that we will not have to kill any livestock.”

The explanation of the above-mentioned verses is that because Ahab and his wife Jezebel were doing things which were evil in the sight of the Lord, so the Lord is using the person who was in charge of Ahab’s house and is giving him a heart to safeguard his prophets. Also, he is creating a circumstance for Elijah to meet Ahab. God is showing this as a pattern that if our soul is under the reign of Ahab then to destroy the good deeds of the Lord the harlot woman, who is Jezebel becomes the wife of Ahab, the bride, the church and because it is planning to overturn our spiritual life so the Lord is saying that dew or rain will not fall on the land, and he is commanding that to Ahab. Therefore to destroy the deeds of Ahab and Jezebel after three years, he is manifesting in us as his prophet and to create a circumstance for this we see that he is preparing the person in charge of Ahab’s house. It is written that to remove this a prophet will arise in our midst. The verse regarding this Deuteronomy 18: 9 – 15

“When you come into the land which the Lord your God is giving you, you shall not learn to follow the abominations of those nations.

There shall not be found among you anyone who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, or one who practices witchcraft, or a soothsayer, or one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer,

or one who conjures spells, or a medium, or a spiritist, or one who calls up the dead.

For all who do these things are an abomination to the Lord, and because of these abominations the Lord your God drives them out from before you.

You shall be blameless before the Lord your God.

For these nations which you will dispossess listened to soothsayers and diviners; but as for you, the Lord your God has not appointed such for you.

“The Lord your God will raise up for you a Prophet like me from your midst, from your brethren. Him you shall hear,

The above-mentioned verses are a pattern of Christ. When our Lord Jesus Christ is revealed in our soul as the King of kings and the Holy Spirit as the bride, the church the cunning deeds of Jezebel, which are the high places of Baal will be broken and destroyed by the Lord and for this he arises and as a pattern for this he is telling Elijah to go, present yourself to Ahab, and I will send rain on the earth. In this manner, in our midst the Lord is resurrecting and, in this manner, we must submit ourselves to worship the resurrected Christ.

Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
