“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”

Luke 17: 20, 21

Now when He was asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, He answered them and said, “The kingdom of God does not come with observation;

nor will they say, ‘See here!’ or ‘See there!’ For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you.”

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen

Our soul, the bride, the church is the Kingdom of God.

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated we, the bride, the church should never become bound to cursed things in our life and safeguard ourselves.

Next what we are meditating upon is that 1 Kings 17: 1 – 5 And Elijah the Tishbite, of the inhabitants of Gilead, said to Ahab, “As the Lord God of Israel lives, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, except at my word.”

Then the word of the Lord came to him, saying,

“Get away from here and turn eastward, and hide by the Brook Cherith, which flows into the Jordan.

And it will be that you shall drink from the brook, and I have commanded the ravens to feed you there.”

So he went and did according to the word of the Lord, for he went and stayed by the Brook Cherith, which flows into the Jordan.

In the above-mentioned portions when Ahab was ruling over Israel Hiel built Jericho. And Elijah the Tishbite, of the inhabitants of Gilead, said to Ahab, “As the Lord God of Israel lives, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, except at my word.” Then the word of the Lord came to him, saying, “Get away from here and turn eastward, and hide by the Brook Cherith, which flows into the Jordan. And it will be that you shall drink from the brook, and I have commanded the ravens to feed you there.” So he went and did according to the word of the Lord, for he went and stayed by the Brook Cherith, which flows into the Jordan. Then as the Lord said in 1 Kings 17: 6 – 8 The ravens brought him bread and meat in the morning, and bread and meat in the evening; and he drank from the brook.

And it happened after a while that the brook dried up, because there had been no rain in the land.

Then the word of the Lord came to him, saying,

After the above-mentioned words of the Lord were fulfilled the word of the Lord came to Elijah saying, “Arise, go to Zarephath, which belongs to Sidon, and dwell there. See, I have commanded a widow there to provide for you.” In the same way according to the word of the Lord he arose and in 1 Kings 17: 10 – 14 So he arose and went to Zarephath. And when he came to the gate of the city, indeed a widow was there gathering sticks. And he called to her and said, “Please bring me a little water in a cup, that I may drink.”

And as she was going to get it, he called to her and said, “Please bring me a morsel of bread in your hand.”

So she said, “As the Lord your God lives, I do not have bread, only a handful of flour in a bin, and a little oil in a jar; and see, I am gathering a couple of sticks that I may go in and prepare it for myself and my son, that we may eat it, and die.”

And Elijah said to her, “Do not fear; go and do as you have said, but make me a small cake from it first, and bring it to me; and afterward make some for yourself and your son.

For thus says the Lord God of Israel: ‘The bin of flour shall not be used up, nor shall the jar of oil run dry, until the day the Lord sends rain on the earth.’”

According to what Elijah said in the above-mentioned words and she and he and her household ate for many days. The bin of flour was not used up, nor did the jar of oil run dry, according to the word of the Lord which He spoke by Elijah.

My dear people, every above-mentioned word is shown as patterns for the kingdom of God to come to our soul and we must realize that. That is, the king of Israel did not give place for our Lord Jesus Christ in his soul and if we will give place for fellowship with the world the person coming there is Ahab. He will establish the altar of Baal in our soul and his wife is Jezebel. She was from Sidon and she was the daughter of Ethbaal, king of the Sidonians; and she served Baal and worshiped him and we can read this. In this manner if we will give place to Baal then we will become the city of Jericho again and since we are doing such kind of things which are against the Lord so using the prophet, he is telling the things that he is going to do. That is, in that land there shall be no dew or rain and as the altar of Baal if our soul will have idols then the anointing of the Holy Spirit will not manifest. But the prophetic words that we were receiving in our soul will not be destroyed by the Lord and he safeguards them. Then if our soul will be as a life where the bridegroom does not manifest it will be a place of Zarepath and will make us as an widow and so that the soul does not die and to safeguard it the Lord will send his prophet and is protecting that widow so that her soul is not destroyed. Then the resurrected Christ manifests there as the one who dwells there forever in glory. In this manner, the Lord breaks us and creates us and fills us with his glorious anointing. In this manner, the kingdom of God (bread and oil which does not decrease) is manifested in our soul. We must wait for this and submit ourselves to receive this.

Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
