“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”

1 John 3: 7

Little children, let no one deceive you. He who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous.

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen

We, the bride, the church should never work according to our own lusts.

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated we, the bride, the church should not consider the prophecy of the Lord as trivial and should not despise it and we must safeguard our soul carefully.

Next what we are meditating upon is that 1 Kings 16: 14 – 24 Now the rest of the acts of Elah, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?

In the twenty-seventh year of Asa king of Judah, Zimri had reigned in Tirzah seven days. And the people were encamped against Gibbethon, which belonged to the Philistines.

Now the people who were encamped heard it said, “Zimri has conspired and also has killed the king.” So all Israel made Omri, the commander of the army, king over Israel that day in the camp.

Then Omri and all Israel with him went up from Gibbethon, and they besieged Tirzah.

And it happened, when Zimri saw that the city was taken, that he went into the citadel of the king’s house and burned the king’s house down upon himself with fire, and died,

because of the sins which he had committed in doing evil in the sight of the Lord, in walking in the way of Jeroboam, and in his sin which he had committed to make Israel sin.

Now the rest of the acts of Zimri, and the treason he committed, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?

Then the people of Israel were divided into two parts: half of the people followed Tibni the son of Ginath, to make him king, and half followed Omri.

But the people who followed Omri prevailed over the people who followed Tibni the son of Ginath. So Tibni died and Omri reigned.

In the thirty-first year of Asa king of Judah, Omri became king over Israel, and reigned twelve years. Six years he reigned in Tirzah.

And he bought the hill of Samaria from Shemer for two talents of silver; then he built on the hill, and called the name of the city which he built, Samaria, after the name of Shemer, owner of the hill.

According to the above-mentioned verses, Zimri destroyed everyone in Basha’s household. Now the rest of the acts of Elah, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel? In the twenty-seventh year of Asa king of Judah, Zimri had reigned in Tirzah seven days. And the people were encamped against Gibbethon, which belonged to the Philistines. Now the people who were encamped heard it said, “Zimri has conspired and also has killed the king.” So all Israel made Omri, the commander of the army, king over Israel that day in the camp. Then Omri and all Israel with him went up from Gibbethon, and they besieged Tirzah. And it happened, when Zimri saw that the city was taken, that he went into the citadel of the king’s house and burned the king’s house down upon himself with fire, and died, because of the sins which he had committed in doing evil in the sight of the Lord, in walking in the way of Jeroboam, and in his sin which he had committed to make Israel sin.

My dear people, when we meditate upon the above-mentioned verses if we walk in the ways of Jeroboam and if we do deeds against the Lord then those kingdoms will not stand and if we think that we must take the kingdom of others and walk in their own lusts then their kingdoms will not stand and each one of us must know this. Here when we read the kings being killed and those who take the place of the kings who are being killed will not remain forever. In this manner, among us many people make the church of God into two and deceive the souls and keep them and for their needs they consider the work of God as a job to give them income. Regarding them, the Lord is saying that they are working for their stomach only. Also, there are many people who desire to have the anointing that is there on others. Their anointing will not remain forever, and it will be like the kingdom that Zimri received.

Therefore, my dear people everyone who is reading this should analyze and know the above-mentioned facts carefully and should not be like those who spoiled themselves and so that they do not attain the reward of unrighteousness we must safeguard ourselves. Also, they must receive the anointing of Christ and should walk everyday in the things pertaining to Christ carefully and receive holiness and do what is right to the Lord and be as those who inherit the reward of righteousness and submit ourselves to the Lord.

Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
