“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”

Psalms 13: 5, 6

But I have trusted in Your mercy; My heart shall rejoice in Your salvation.

I will sing to the Lord, because He has dealt bountifully with me.

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen

Our altar, the bride, the church is the body of the resurrected Christ.

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that in our soul, the bride, the church we should receive the fullness of grace.

Next what we are meditating upon is that 1 Kings 12: 25 – 33 Then Jeroboam built Shechem in the mountains of Ephraim and dwelt there. Also he went out from there and built Penuel.

And Jeroboam said in his heart, “Now the kingdom may return to the house of David:

If these people go up to offer sacrifices in the house of the Lord at Jerusalem, then the heart of this people will turn back to their lord, Rehoboam king of Judah, and they will kill me and go back to Rehoboam king of Judah.”

Therefore the king asked advice, made two calves of gold, and said to the people, “It is too much for you to go up to Jerusalem. Here are your gods, O Israel, which brought you up from the land of Egypt!”

And he set up one in Bethel, and the other he put in Dan.

Now this thing became a sin, for the people went to worship before the one as far as Dan.

He made shrines on the high places, and made priests from every class of people, who were not of the sons of Levi.

Jeroboam ordained a feast on the fifteenth day of the eighth month, like the feast that was in Judah, and offered sacrifices on the altar. So he did at Bethel, sacrificing to the calves that he had made. And at Bethel he installed the priests of the high places which he had made.

So he made offerings on the altar which he had made at Bethel on the fifteenth day of the eighth month, in the month which he had devised in his own heart. And he ordained a feast for the children of Israel and offered sacrifices on the altar and burned incense.

In the above-mentioned verses, just like how the Lord spoke through the prophet Ahijah after King Solomon died according to the words of the Lord Jeroboam became the king for the ten tribes and built Shechem in the mountains of Ephraim and dwelt there. Also he went out from there and built Penuel. And Jeroboam said in his heart, “Now the kingdom may return to the house of David: He said in 1 Kings 12: 27 If these people go up to offer sacrifices in the house of the Lord at Jerusalem, then the heart of this people will turn back to their lord, Rehoboam king of Judah, and they will kill me and go back to Rehoboam king of Judah.

He thought the above-mentioned words in his mind and then what he thought is that in 1 Kings 12: 28, 29 Therefore the king asked advice, made two calves of gold, and said to the people, “It is too much for you to go up to Jerusalem. Here are your gods, O Israel, which brought you up from the land of Egypt!”

And he set up one in Bethel, and the other he put in Dan.

What the above-mentioned words are saying is that after Jeroboam became the king for the ten tribes of Israel and he did not allow them to go to Jerusalem and to prevent them he made two calves of gold and set up one in Bethel and one in Dan. He set it up in this manner and told the people that Here are your gods, O Israel, which brought you up from the land of Egypt!

My dear people, in the above-mentioned verses the facts are that in our soul if we do not receive the fullness of grace we will be deceived and also the anointing which we have been receiving due to our disobedience if it is removed from us the judgement that the Lord is giving us is that Christ will not be manifested as the priest within us and the priesthood that is arising within us is impure and Christ as a priest within us will not do any thing and on our own in the day according to our wish and according to how we feel like and according to how we wish we walk and we lead those depending upon us to walk in this manner and in this manner we will worship the Lord. But that will not be a sacrifice that is pleasing to the Lord. This is what God is showing as a pattern through Jeroboam. Therefore we must all not be in this manner and let us submit ourselves to offer worship in the altar according to the will of God.

Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
