“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”

Psalms 105: 19

Until the time that his word came to pass, the word of the Lord tested him.

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen

If we, the bride, the church do not obey the Lord then the Lord will make enemies rise against us.

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that we, the bride, the church should be careful not to disobey the laws that the Lord has commanded us.

Next what we are meditating upon is that 1 Kings 11: 15 – 17 For it happened, when David was in Edom, and Joab the commander of the army had gone up to bury the slain, after he had killed every male in Edom

(because for six months Joab remained there with all Israel, until he had cut down every male in Edom),

that Hadad fled to go to Egypt, he and certain Edomites of his father’s servants with him. Hadad was still a little child.

In the above-mentioned verses, due to sin that Solomon did the Lord is telling him that I will give one tribe to your son for the sake of My servant David, and for the sake of Jerusalem which I have chosen. Now the Lord raised up an adversary against Solomon, Hadad the Edomite; he was a descendant of the king in Edom. For it happened, when David was in Edom, and Joab the commander of the army had gone up to bury the slain, after he had killed every male in Edom (because for six months Joab remained there with all Israel, until he had cut down every male in Edom), that Hadad fled to go to Egypt, he and certain Edomites of his father’s servants with him. Hadad was still a little child. Also, regarding Hadad, 1 Kings 11: 18 – 20 Then they arose from Midian and came to Paran; and they took men with them from Paran and came to Egypt, to Pharaoh king of Egypt, who gave him a house, apportioned food for him, and gave him land.

And Hadad found great favor in the sight of Pharaoh, so that he gave him as wife the sister of his own wife, that is, the sister of Queen Tahpenes.

Then the sister of Tahpenes bore him Genubath his son, whom Tahpenes weaned in Pharaoh’s house. And Genubath was in Pharaoh’s household among the sons of Pharaoh.

In the above-mentioned words, the son of Hadad Genubath was brought up in the house of Pharaoh.

My dear people, when we meditate upon the above-mentioned verses, what the Lord has shown as a pattern is that when we disobey the laws of the Lord and if we will do deeds which are against the Lord then he will make enemies to arise against us and also knowing what we are going to do beforehand we understand from where our Lord rises enemies and where they were grown. My loving people in Christ who are reading this, we must all not disobey the laws of the Lord and if we do not safeguard ourselves carefully, then the Lord will make enemies arise against us. Therefore so that God does not arise enemies against us let each one of us submit ourselves to obey the Lord.

Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
