“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”
Proverbs 16: 20
He who heeds the word wisely will find good, and whoever trusts in the Lord, happy is he.
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen
We, the bride, the church should be as those who carefully safeguard the wisdom that we have received from God.
My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that we, the bride, the church should be careful in revealing the wisdom of God that is hidden in our soul so that we do not loose and are able to safeguard the graces of the Lord.
Next what we are meditating upon is that 1 Kings 10: 11 – 16 Also, the ships of Hiram, which brought gold from Ophir, brought great quantities of almug wood and precious stones from Ophir.
And the king made steps of the almug wood for the house of the Lord and for the king’s house, also harps and stringed instruments for singers. There never again came such almug wood, nor has the like been seen to this day.
Now King Solomon gave the queen of Sheba all she desired, whatever she asked, besides what Solomon had given her according to the royal generosity. So she turned and went to her own country, she and her servants.
The weight of gold that came to Solomon yearly was six hundred and sixty-six talents of gold,
besides that from the traveling merchants, from the income of traders, from all the kings of Arabia, and from the governors of the country.
And King Solomon made two hundred large shields of hammered gold; six hundred shekels of gold went into each shield.
In the above-mentioned verses, queen of Sheba brought things for King Solomon and after that the ships of Hiram, which brought gold from Ophir, brought great quantities of almug wood and precious stones from Ophir. And the king made steps of the almug wood for the house of the Lord and for the king’s house, also harps and stringed instruments for singers. There never again came such almug wood, nor has the like been seen to this day. Now King Solomon gave the queen of Sheba all she desired, whatever she asked, besides what Solomon had given her according to the royal generosity. So she turned and went to her own country, she and her servants. The weight of gold that came to Solomon yearly was six hundred and sixty-six talents of gold, besides that from the traveling merchants, from the income of traders, from all the kings of Arabia, and from the governors of the country. And King Solomon made two hundred large shields of hammered gold;
My dear people, more than the things what the queen of Sheba brought to King Solomon and gave him greater gifts Solomon gave her and sent her. After that everything that she desired and asked he is giving and sending her. What this means is that from the ends of the earth the queen who came, she is the harlot and God is explaining that. The pattern regarding this is that if we give place for the harlot in our soul, to make us lose the spiritual grace that is there in our soul she will bring many desires of the world and she will desire to take the blessings that are there within us. This is how she comes to King Solomon, and she asks what she desires, he gives her everything according to her desires and sends her. All these things are the reason for the wisdom that God had given in the life of Solomon to spoil, but he did not understand that then. In the same manner, to those who come to us with jealousy we must not reveal our soul. Therefore we must not give place in our soul for any deceiving spirit who deceives us by any expensive things, and we must safeguard ourselves. Let us submit ourselves in this manner.
Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
