“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”
1 Corinthians 3: 16, 17
Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?
If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are.
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen
If we, the bride, the church manifest as the temple of God, then he will make us his people and will not forsake us.
My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that We, the bride, the church should be as those with one thought.
Next what we are meditating upon is that 1 Kings 6: 1 – 14 And it came to pass in the four hundred and eightieth year after the children of Israel had come out of the land of Egypt, in the fourth year of Solomon’s reign over Israel, in the month of Ziv, which is the second month, that he began to build the house of the Lord.
Now the house which King Solomon built for the Lord, its length was sixty cubits, its width twenty, and its height thirty cubits.
The vestibule in front of the sanctuary of the house was twenty cubits long across the width of the house, and the width of the vestibule extended ten cubits from the front of the house.
And he made for the house windows with bevelled frames.
Against the wall of the temple he built chambers all around, against the walls of the temple, all around the sanctuary and the inner sanctuary. Thus he made side chambers all around it.
The lowest chamber was five cubits wide, the middle was six cubits wide, and the third was seven cubits wide; for he made narrow ledges around the outside of the temple, so that the support beams would not be fastened into the walls of the temple.
And the temple, when it was being built, was built with stone finished at the quarry, so that no hammer or chisel or any iron tool was heard in the temple while it was being built.
The doorway for the middle story was on the right side of the temple. They went up by stairs to the middle story, and from the middle to the third.
So he built the temple and finished it, and he panelled the temple with beams and boards of cedar.
And he built side chambers against the entire temple, each five cubits high; they were attached to the temple with cedar beams.
Then the word of the Lord came to Solomon, saying:
“Concerning this temple which you are building, if you walk in My statutes, execute My judgments, keep all My commandments, and walk in them, then I will perform My word with you, which I spoke to your father David.
And I will dwell among the children of Israel, and will not forsake My people Israel.”
So Solomon built the temple and finished it.
In the above-mentioned verses, it came to pass in the four hundred and eightieth year after the children of Israel had come out of the land of Egypt, in the fourth year of Solomon’s reign over Israel, in the month of Ziv, which is the second month, that he began to build the house of the Lord. Then the Lord said to Solomon in 1 Kings 6: 12, 13 “Concerning this temple which you are building, if you walk in My statutes, execute My judgments, keep all My commandments, and walk in them, then I will perform My word with you, which I spoke to your father David.
And I will dwell among the children of Israel, and will not forsake My people Israel.”
According to the above-mentioned words of God, Solomon built the temple and finished it.
My dear people, the facts regarding the above-mentioned words are that it is being manifested with a pattern that to build the temple in our body with stone finished at the quarry for us our Lord Jesus Christ was beaten and died on the cross of Calvary and buried and then on the third day he resurrected. For the resurrected Christ to be resurrected in our soul we must die to sin and to live unto righteousness if we will receive baptism by water then the Lord will raise us up from the dead. In this manner, Christ in our body as a temple he is rising in our inner man. Also, if we will be manifested as a temple then we have a narrow gate and we cannot walk according to our desires and within us Christ should not be beaten again and for that it is written that no sound of hammer or chisel or any iron tool was heard there. Also, the temple should be built with love and that is love means following the commandments of the Lord is only love. In this manner, we must fulfil his laws, righteous judgements and to walk according to all his commandments if we will follow them then he will fulfil the word that he told David and, in our soul, he will be manifested as the temple. If each one of us will be a temple, then the Lord will dwell within us, and he will not forsake us. In this manner, for us to be manifested as the temple of God let us submit ourselves.
Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
