“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”

Psalms 148: 14

And He has exalted the horn of His people, the praise of all His saints— Of the children of Israel, a people near to Him. Praise the Lord!

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen

We, the bride, the church should receive the anointing of the Holy Christ.

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that we, the bride, the church should always be as those that praise, exalt, sing and glorify the Lord who has saved our soul

Next what we are meditating upon is that 1 Kings 1: 37 – 46 As the Lord has been with my lord the king, even so may He be with Solomon, and make his throne greater than the throne of my lord King David.”

So Zadok the priest, Nathan the prophet, Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, the Cherethites, and the Pelethites went down and had Solomon ride on King David’s mule and took him to Gihon.

Then Zadok the priest took a horn of oil from the tabernacle and anointed Solomon. And they blew the horn, and all the people said, “Long live King Solomon!”

And all the people went up after him; and the people played the flutes and rejoiced with great joy, so that the earth seemed to split with their sound.

Now Adonijah and all the guests who were with him heard it as they finished eating. And when Joab heard the sound of the horn, he said, “Why is the city in such a noisy uproar?”

While he was still speaking, there came Jonathan, the son of Abiathar the priest. And Adonijah said to him, “Come in, for you are a prominent man, and bring good news.”

Then Jonathan answered and said to Adonijah, “No! Our lord King David has made Solomon king.

The king has sent with him Zadok the priest, Nathan the prophet, Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, the Cherethites, and the Pelethites; and they have made him ride on the king’s mule.

So Zadok the priest and Nathan the prophet have anointed him king at Gihon; and they have gone up from there rejoicing, so that the city is in an uproar. This is the noise that you have heard.

Also Solomon sits on the throne of the kingdom.

According to the above-mentioned verses, Benaiah the son of Jehoiada answered when King David made his son Solomon as king in this place glorified God and said, as the Lord has been with my lord the king, even so may He be with Solomon, and make his throne greater than the throne of my lord King David. Then in 1 Kings 1: 38, 39 So Zadok the priest, Nathan the prophet, Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, the Cherethites, and the Pelethites went down and had Solomon ride on King David’s mule and took him to Gihon.

Then Zadok the priest took a horn of oil from the tabernacle and anointed Solomon. And they blew the horn, and all the people said, “Long live King Solomon!”

Those who are mentioned in the above verses made Solomon ride on David’s mule and took him to Gihon. Then Zadok the priest took a horn of oil from the tabernacle and anointed Solomon. And they blew the horn, and all the people said, “Long live King Solomon!” And all the people went up after him; and the people played the flutes and rejoiced with great joy, so that the earth seemed to split with their sound. Now Adonijah and all the guests who were with him heard it as they finished eating. And when Joab heard the sound of the horn, he said, “Why is the city in such a noisy uproar?” While he was still speaking, there came Jonathan, the son of Abiathar the priest. And Adonijah said to him, “Come in, for you are a prominent man, and bring good news.” Then Jonathan answered and said to Adonijah, “No! Our lord King David has made Solomon king. The king has sent with him Zadok the priest, Nathan the prophet, Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, the Cherethites, and the Pelethites; and they have made him ride on the king’s mule. So Zadok the priest and Nathan the prophet has anointed him king at Gihon; and they have gone up from there rejoicing, so that the city is in an uproar. This is the noise that you have heard. Also Solomon sits on the throne of the kingdom.

My dear people, the above-mentioned words of God what they are saying with a pattern is that God saves our soul and when that soul is being anointed by God then the word of the Lord will be revealed in us. Not only that but the power of the Lord will come upon us to shake our soul.  For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will be brought along with God. In this manner, our soul which was dead is being made to rise up by God and is making it rejoice greatly.

My dear people, God is showing us as a pattern using Solomon how God is anointing our soul. The thing which we must notice in our anointing is that the king is telling to take Solomon on his mule and anoint him. We must think the fact regarding this and act accordingly. Absalom is also climbing on a mule, and it took him in the path under the thick boughs of a great terebinth tree. He gets caught and is destroyed. God is telling us that do not be like the mule, and we can read this. Therefore, the word of the Lord is that Behold, your King is coming to you, lowly, and sitting on a donkey, a colt, the foal of a donkey. Therefore, if we want to safeguard the anointing which we have received so that we never fall down then we must walk in holiness with Christ and we must receive the holy anointing of Christ. God is showing us some examples so that we must not fall down, and we should safeguard ourselves. We must be careful in these things and submit ourselves to safeguard ourselves.

Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
