My dearly beloved in Christ, it is written that Old Adam (Old man) became a living being. Genesis 2:7 - And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.

The New Adam is the Holy Spirit who resurrects.

God created Adam and Eve in the image of God. In Genesis 1:27 -  So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.

But those created by God in his image were deceived by the serpent and lost God’s image. Their fleshy eyes were opened.

Genesis 3:7 - Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves coverings.

When God came to walk around in the garden, they couldn’t stand before God and Adam and Eve moved away from God’s presence and hid in between the trees of the garden.

Therefore, we see God cursing the three of them there. If God’s image goes away from us, God’s anger comes upon us.

God cursed Adam as written in Genesis 3:19 - In the sweat of your face you shall eat bread Till you return to the ground, For out of it you were taken; For dust you are, And to dust you shall return.”

After that, Adam and Eve had their generation. Cain, Abel – those who read it will understand. God sent Adam and Eve out of the garden to till the ground. The children who were born after they went out of the garden brought offerings to God. One offered a living offering and another offered an offering without life. God did not accept the offering without life. He accepted the living offering.

But Cain got angry with Abel and when they both were in the fields Cain killed Abel. The reason for this was Cain was filled with anger. This was because they were the children born after being deceived by the serpent and sent out of the garden. (God’s curse)

After that, a son called Seth was born for Adam. Seth had a son whose name was Enos. Then men began to call on the name of the Lord.

Then men began to multiply in the face of the earth. Genesis 6: 5 – 8 says - Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

And the Lord was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart.

So, the Lord said, “I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth, both man and beast, creeping thing and birds of the air, for I am sorry that I have made them.”

But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord.

Genesis 6: 11 - The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.

Genesis 6: 12 - So God looked upon the earth, and indeed it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted their way on the earth.

This is what is happening even now in the days of the Son of man. After we are united with Christ, we are putting on Christ’s image. But our soul which is the garden (God is walking around and giving us his teachings) is being deceived by the devil. We purposefully do the things that God has not allowed us to do and walk around carelessly. Therefore, in these days, God is destroying the deeds of the old man – Adam and Eve and asking us to put on the new man (Lord Jesus Christ) and wants to renew us and make us new.
