“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”

1 Samuel 2: 12

Now the sons of Eli were corrupt; they did not know the Lord. 

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen

We, the bride, the church should not give place for the sons of Belial in our soul.

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that in our soul, the bride, the church Christ is rising up as a singer.

Next what we are meditating upon is that

2 Samuel 23: 1 – 7

Now these are the last words of David. Thus says David the son of Jesse; Thus says the man raised up on high, The anointed of the God of Jacob, And the sweet psalmist of Israel:

“The Spirit of the Lord spoke by me, And His word was on my tongue.

The God of Israel said, The Rock of Israel spoke to me: ‘He who rules over men must be just, Ruling in the fear of God.

And he shall be like the light of the morning when the sun rises, A morning without clouds, Like the tender grass springing out of the earth, By clear shining after rain.’

“Although my house is not so with God, Yet He has made with me an everlasting covenant, Ordered in all things and secure. For this is all my salvation and all my desire; Will He not make it increase?

But the sons of rebellion shall all be as thorns thrust away, because they cannot be taken with hands.

But the man who touches them must be armed with iron and the shaft of a spear, and they shall be utterly burned with fire in their place.”

According to the above-mentioned words of God, David in his life was raised up on high and received the anointing by the God of Jacob and the sweet psalmist of Israel a man called David, and these were his last words: The Spirit of the Lord spoke by me, And His word was on my tongue.

My dear people, David is being shown as a pattern to our Lord Jesus Christ by God and he is speaking using David. The God of Israel said, The Rock of Israel spoke to me: ‘He who rules over men must be just, Ruling in the fear of God. And he shall be like the light of the morning when the sun rises, A morning without clouds, Like the tender grass springing out of the earth, By clear shining after rain.’ This shows how Christ arises in our soul and in our soul, Christ is being glorified by the word of God and although my house is not so with God, yet He has made with me an everlasting covenant, ordered in all things and secure. For this is all my salvation and all my desire; and he makes it increase he said. Therefore, all the salvation that occurs due to Christ and all the desire regarding him because it is being fulfilled the sons of Belial that are within us, the evil characters which cannot be taken by the hands shall be as thorns that should be thrust away. If we go to touch them if they are filled with grace only they can be burnt completely with fire. 

My dear people, from this what we must know is that we must undergo complete growth within Christ. Only then the deeds of Belial from within us will be destroyed by the fire. Then we can live along with Christ, the mighty one. Let us submit ourselves in this manner.
