“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”

Luke 19: 10

For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen

We, the bride, the church should receive again what we have lost from the Lord.

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that we, the bride, the church everyone with one heart should worship God in spirit and in truth.

Next what we are meditating upon is that 2 Samuel 19: 24 – 29 Now Mephibosheth the son of Saul came down to meet the king. And he had not cared for his feet, nor trimmed his moustache, nor washed his clothes, from the day the king departed until the day he returned in peace.

So it was, when he had come to Jerusalem to meet the king, that the king said to him, “Why did you not go with me, Mephibosheth?”

And he answered, “My lord, O king, my servant deceived me. For your servant said, ‘I will saddle a donkey for myself, that I may ride on it and go to the king,’ because your servant is lame.

And he has slandered your servant to my lord the king, but my lord the king is like the angel of God. Therefore do what is good in your eyes.

For all my father’s house were but dead men before my lord the king. Yet you set your servant among those who eat at your own table. Therefore what right have I still to cry out anymore to the king?”

So the king said to him, “Why do you speak any more of your matters? I have said, ‘You and Ziba divide the land.’”

According to the above-mentioned verses, we see that the person called Shimei cursed David and then later he was the one who went to call David to become king and as soon as he saw David, he asked forgiveness for the sin that he had done and because of that David blessed Shimei and blesses him that you will not die. Also, Mephibosheth the son of Saul came down to meet the king. And he had not cared for his feet, nor trimmed his moustache, nor washed his clothes, from the day the king departed until the day he returned in peace. So it was, when he had come to Jerusalem to meet the king, that the king said to him, “Why did you not go with me, Mephibosheth?” And he answered, “My lord, O king, my servant deceived me. For your servant said, ‘I will saddle a donkey for myself, that I may ride on it and go to the king,’ because your servant is lame. And he has slandered your servant to my lord the king, but my lord the king is like the angel of God. Therefore do what is good in your eyes.

Then Mephibosheth said in 2 Samuel 19: 28 For all my father’s house were but dead men before my lord the king. Yet you set your servant among those who eat at your own table. Therefore what right have I still to cry out anymore to the king?”

When he heard the above-mentioned words, after Mephibosheth had spoken to King David, the king said to him, “Why do you speak any more of your matters? I have said, ‘You and Ziba divide the land.’” That is, in the past the servant of Mephibosheth, Ziba cunningly came and cheated King David. At that time the king told Ziba that everything that belongs to Mephibosheth belongs to you. But now the thing that we deceived was revealed and David is taking that from Ziba and giving it back to Mephibosheth.

My dear people, what God is showing as a pattern is that when we know our Lord Jesus Christ but still we do not glorify him as God and when we do not accept him due to the cunningness of the Satan and he makes us far away from Him. But on the day that he meets us if our heart will open and if we will submit ourselves to Him then he will redeem what we have lost and give it to us and we must think about this and till now whatever we have lost due to Satan all the spiritual strength of the soul to receive it back from Jesus let us submit ourselves.

Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
