“Glory to the Precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ”

Proverbs 19: 9

A false witness will not go unpunished, and he who speaks lies shall perish.

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen

We, the bride, the church should never walk as a lie.

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, in the portion of the Bible that we meditated upon in the past days, we meditated that we, the bride, the church should never lead the people in the wrong path and do evil to the Lord and we must safeguard ourselves.

Next what we are meditating upon is that 2 Samuel 15: 7 – 13 Now it came to pass after forty years that Absalom said to the king, “Please, let me go to Hebron and pay the vow which I made to the Lord.

For your servant took a vow while I dwelt at Geshur in Syria, saying, ‘If the Lord indeed brings me back to Jerusalem, then I will serve the Lord.’”

And the king said to him, “Go in peace.” So he arose and went to Hebron.

Then Absalom sent spies throughout all the tribes of Israel, saying, “As soon as you hear the sound of the trumpet, then you shall say, ‘Absalom reigns in Hebron!’”

And with Absalom went two hundred men invited from Jerusalem, and they went along innocently and did not know anything.

Then Absalom sent for Ahithophel the Gilonite, David’s counselor, from his city—from Giloh—while he offered sacrifices. And the conspiracy grew strong, for the people with Absalom continually increased in number.

Now a messenger came to David, saying, “The hearts of the men of Israel are with Absalom.”

In the above-mentioned verses, Absalom stole the hearts of the many men of Israel. Now it came to pass after forty years that Absalom said to the king, “Please, let me go to Hebron and pay the vow which I made to the Lord. For your servant took a vow while I dwelt at Geshur in Syria, saying, ‘If the Lord indeed brings me back to Jerusalem, then I will serve the Lord.’” And the king said to him, “Go in peace.” So he arose and went to Hebron. Then Absalom sent spies throughout all the tribes of Israel, saying, “As soon as you hear the sound of the trumpet, then you shall say, ‘Absalom reigns in Hebron!’” And with Absalom went two hundred men invited from Jerusalem, and they went along innocently and did not know anything.

My dear people, we see that Absalom is working against his father King David in secret. That is, he is lying and asking permission to go to Hebron to the king to pay the vow and receives the permission and he is taking two hundred people from Jerusalem along with him and going there. The reason for this is that to receive the place of the king he is filled with infatuation. In this manner only many among us are deceived by the harlot woman against the Lord and in their soul, they think that they are the king, and they fight to get the place of Christ.

Regarding the soul which comes in this manner in Isaiah 14: 11 – 15 Your pomp is brought down to Sheol, and the sound of your stringed instruments; The maggot is spread under you, and worms cover you.’

“How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground, you who weakened the nations!

For you have said in your heart: ‘I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregation on the farthest sides of the north;

I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the Most High.’

Yet you shall be brought down to Sheol, to the lowest depths of the Pit.

In the above-mentioned verses, the facts are that those who think in this manner to make themselves like God will be pushed to the lowest depths of hell. These people will pull people who are without knowledge and without deceit and will push them also to hell. Therefore we must always submit ourselves to walk with the wisdom of God, with grace and with humbleness of the mind.

Let us pray. May the Lord bless you all abundantly.
